Welcome home to Casitas del Monte, a desert retreat that feels miles away from it all yet is conveniently located right in the heart of Palm Springs. Stroll through the lush grounds filled with water fountains and flower gardens set against a spectacular mountain backdrop, or catch a sunset only the desert can provide from your private balcony or patio. This is an older timeshare property and there are not a lot of units, but it is one of the best run timeshare properties we have ever stayed at. The units are very large and spacious. They are well appointed with lots of dishes, pots and pans with plenty of utensils; lots of soap and detergent. There is a washer and dryer in the unit also. The beds are comfortable with a king bed in the master bedroom and two double beds in the second bedroom. The bathrooms are large and well lit. The office was very welcoming and best of all, no pressure to attend any timeshare presentation! Not even mentioned.
Very convenient to downtown Palm Springs, only 10 minutes away. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, not far from the entrance to the Indian Canyons.
Great service and wonderful place to stay.
Only a few minor complaints. The heater is a bit noisy when it is on and the water heater sometimes makes noise. Otherwise, nothing else to complain about.
Would like to come back again soon.

This is the second year in a row for us to stay at Casitas Del Monte. The units are incredibly large very well-maintained in the pool area is not standing. Plenty of room in the hot tub, lounge chairs abound all around the nice large swimming pool. We always feel very welcome here and I would highly recommend should you be lucky enough to secure a reservation.

Traded my timeshare for a week at Casitas Del Monte after reading some of the reviews on my time share managers web site. Glad I did. The resort is small - only about 12 units, however the units are incredibly spacious and well designed. There’s in-unit laundry as well. This is an older resort with very limited amenities, however it’s super clean, well kept, and convenient to most of the Palm Springs attractions. If you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the large resorts then this is it. Only a 5 minute drive to shopping and the Palm Springs strip. My only 2 complaints, and these could be considered petty or silly: 1) Although there is a nice large in-ground swimming pool, the deepest end was only about 4 feet. Not deep enough if you like to kick around in deep water. 2) There’s a hot tub/jacuzzi next to the pool however the jacuzzi jets were terribly anemic, not very strong output at all, and the temperature didn’t go up much beyond the temp of a tepid bath tub, so if you’re looking for a nice hot strong jetted jacuzzi to enjoy on those chilly Palm Springs desert evenings this would never do. Aside from that, Casitas Del Monte is a gem and we’ll definitely be back next fall.

Time has passed this resort by. Units are very very dated. Smell like very old cabins. Carpet looks to be 20 years old. Washer and dryer had been broken for a long time but they didn’t bother to tell us when we booked through RCI. One of the showers barely worked. Small TVs. Minimal cutlery, pots etc in kitchen. Burnt out lights on resort property. Our unit totally dark with zero view. Pool and hot tub but no other amenities. Now they charge $25 day for outside parking. It appears the resort is not spending on maintenance and squeezing for extra fees. We won’t be back.
