We recently visited our daughter who was staying at Amin Casa. While there we chatted with the owner and experienced such warm hospitality at this beautiful property it truly made a difference in our short vacation. (We wished we had booked Amin Casa for ourselves rather than our usual spot!) In addition to the genial atmosphere, our daughter's room was perfectly restored and amenities were plentiful. It is a small property, but delightfully landscaped and cared for. All staff we briefly had contact with were friendly, responsive and truly seemed happy at their jobs. We booked our next PS vacation here and can't wait. If you are looking for a lovely, very quiet, but friendly place to stay in PS within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and downtown, Amin Casa is the perfect choice.…
A magical retreat in the heart of historic Palm Springs. Quiet, clean, charming cottages, lovely grounds and a beautiful pool. A little hidden sanctuary. We loved having fresh oranges and grapefruit from the trees outside our room, what a treat. Nelson and his staff do a wonderful job and we can’t wait to return.
Our stay at Amin Casa was an absolute delight. Everything about this special place is absolutely first class. The sense of history, with Gloria Swanson’s Hollywood photos on display, adds to the intrigue and ambience. Oh, if these walls could talk. We stayed for five nights in bungalow number five, which is located adjacent to the pool, cabana, and hot tub. It has huge windows and is bathed in natural light, which was great for us. The decor is a bit more contemporary, and every detail has been carefully thought out by the innkeepers. This is the most comfortable, luxurious, and complete guest house that we have ever stayed in. We made freshly squeezed orange juice every morning from the abundantly fruiting trees just outside of our window - the fully equipped kitchen was great. The innkeeper Nelson made us feel comfortable from the first moment that we walked in the door, and it really felt like home. Compared to other properties that we have stayed at in Palm Springs, Amin Casa stands head and shoulders above the rest. Chris and Tom…
A delightful find in a quiet and lovely neighborhood in Palm Springs, but in close proximity to restaurants and shopping. Our bungelow at Amin Casa was bright, very nicely furnished, immaculate and equipped with everything we needed. Lovely pool and gardens. Friendly and attentive staff. Would absolutely stay again.
Yes, I said luxury living accommodations. because you can stay as long as you like. all are equipped with full or mini kitchens. A beautiful pool with wonderful green and flowered gardens. Yes, you can take spot. they cater to animals. A perfect location to down town Palm Springs. they have.a launder mat on the premises and bikes you can ride all you want. 'They absolute cater to you and your needs. Nelson and Ramen are the ultimate hosts and the only reason why I left after months of being there is because I purchased a place to live right around the corner!! a perfect place for privacy and the decor is perfect!
We stayed at this charming and elegant tiny hotel for four nights for our anniversary and have already booked for next year! The small size and immaculate pool and grounds are perfect for those looking for a peaceful "home" to come back to after hiking the nearby trails or exploring the downtown Palm Springs, which is only blocks away. There is a big communal barbecue with outdoor eating patio as well as a comfortable and whimsical cabana for hanging out in the evenings, although you may not feel the need to leave your room, as most have kitchenettes and seating areas. You truly feel like you are staying at your (suddenly) best friend Nelson's private home in Palm Springs, where he is a gracious but unobtrusive host. Loved it and can't wait to go back.
We chose Amin Casa after deciding to extend our stay in PS for another 2 weeks. Wonderful atmosphere, perfect location and the staff always anticipated our needs during our stay. The property is very well maintained and our bungalow was just fully renovated. The gardens and pool area are beautifully landscaped and serene. It's our top choice in PS.
We travelled as a couple with our little dog in February and had a fabulous experience at Amin Casa. The Bungalow (#1) was elegant with an extremely comfortable King bed and everything was super, super clean. It was great to have a little kitchen area too, for making breakfast or snacks if you didn't feel like eating out. The whole property was beautiful, with peaceful gardens and a gorgeous heated pool. You're only a short walk from the main area of Downtown Palm Springs, but it is so quiet and relaxing. The owners Nelson and Ramon are charming and Nelson went out of his way to make us feel so welcome. Would totally recommend Amin Casa and would go back this weekend if we could.
Over the years, I've sampled quite a number of hotels in Palm Springs. Amin Casa is the finest of the bunch. This boutique hotel is incredibly cozy, beautifully landscaped, charming with a sense of its history (Gloria Swanson's estate), but totally modern in amenities. The studio bungalow offered everything I needed--a fridge with a water filter, a coffee maker and lots of coffee, plates and glasses, etc., lots of outlets for charging things, a huge walk-in closet, and a bathroom that combined modern convenience with a vintage look. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was quiet as can be--yet mere blocks from the center of town with restaurants, cafes, antique shops, art galleries, the museum, and nightclubs within easy walking distance. The owners, Nelson and Ramon, made me feel like a welcomed old friend, and staff members were also friendly yet unobtrusive. The heated pool was a perfect size for doing gentle laps. If you're looking for a special treat, this is the place.…
We really enjoyed our time here. There werent too many people so we had the place mostly to ourselves. The guy who runs the place was very nice and accommodating. Only nit was that the hottub was a little off putting, but hey, its a hot tub...they cant clean the thing every 30 minutes....totally forgivable
