We stayed for 4 nights at the end of October before heading back to LA to fly home. We've been to Palm Springs before but stayed outside PS so had to drive in so this time we wanted to be in the town. Perfect location for us. Had room only, so we went out for breakfast - Koffi a block away did great bagels and muffins!
We checked in and went to our room which was literally the extreme far side of the hotel - we got to the room and really couldn't be bothered to complain after a long drive. It was a long walk each time. I did hear the reception team advise someone else later on in our stay that the room location was a bit of a trek, so i would like to have had my expectations managed in the first place. We did think there would be alternative exits to reception - unfortunately there wasnt.. so we just had to get on with it. Not the easiest with a kid in tow.
There was an issue with my UK credit card (though a transaction had gone through) so they put a block on my room key. I wasn't impressed that I had to return to reception late on in the evening to sort it.
On a plus point i got a tip from the reception team that if i was a marriot rewards member i got $10 off the parking rate per night. Thanks!
On 2 of the 3 nights we stayed we didnt have coffee replenished which was disappointing despite mentioning it to the housekeeping staff.
Pool was a hit with my son who loved it. Plenty of beds and shade. A plus for us.
Overall we would return but would be specific about room location.
This beautiful hotel makes for a wonderful getaway! It boasts breathtaking views of the mountain and gorgeous pool area; both of which we could view from our spacious balcony! Make sure you check out the fitness facility it is truly one of the best! We enjoyed drinks in the lounge with great TVs to watch sports and our bartender was amazing! We make a point to stop at the resort because Rodrigo's impeccable service always makes our night special! We enjoyed a great dinner, the food is delicious! The hotel location is perfect located just steps away from all the downtown restaurants, bars and shops. You won't be disappointed; this resort is a place we will continue to enjoy for years to come.
We had a top floor room with a balcony and a view over the pool and expansive outdoor area. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great bed and bathroom. The room was well equipped and also had room for a comfortable couch. The bar was great, with excellent bar staff and good food options. The location was very close (walkable) to downtown and the pool area was very nice. We would happily stay there again.
Fantastic hotel close to downtown PS. Excellent staff/service all around. Okay, there’s no golf course attached, but this hotel very much has a resort/vacation vibe. The centerpiece is the wonderful pool yard, where one can linger for hours, with full bar and food service if you so desire. I’ve stayed here a few times and can’t wait to get back. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars: no real glassware or bottle opener/corkscrew in the rooms. I expect more than plastic cups when staying at an elegant 4-star establishment like this. Otherwise, all good!
The very recent $14 million renovation has really enhanced the paradise ambiance in and outside the hotel. Being next to Palm Springs Convention Center makes it most attractive to conference attendees.
Located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, the Renaissance Palm Springs provides a sophisticated and stylish setting perfect for any visit to the area. Steps away from the Palm Springs Convention Center and …Morethe upscale shops of Canyon Drive, our hotel is perfect for both work and play. Less
