Elevators do not work. They will tell you this at check-in. The hall ways are creepy and bare. The rooms look nothing like their website. This is a former time-share property. Large rooms with 1970's furniture. Old, moldy, smelly and dirty. Please stay clear. I was so upset. If you stay here, it will spoil your vacation.

As of January 2, 2016 the resort is still in remodel stage. It is not a great place to stay. I am not even sure if it passes code, as you must go out to go in to the first level when coming from the garage because there is no elevator service. There are four floors of stairs from the... More

Your feedback is important to us. The elevators conditions are noted in the reservation confirmation sent prior to your stay. Marquis Villas is currently in a transitional phase and has not yet been updated to the branded standards our guests, such as yourself are accustomed to when staying at a popular Diamond property. We appreciate your understanding and patience during... More

The location for the Marquis Villas Resort is great. Two blocks to a casino and a movie theater, one block to restaurants. Just off the main drag in Palm Springs this was a great location for an adult getaway. I say adult because there are much better destinations in Palm Springs for kids than this place. As they say in... More

First, the poor staff is great and trying to do their best to accommodate guests. And, second, the location is great. Otherwise...where do I begin....? 1. Broken elevator and only way to reach room was via creepy, dirty back stairway 2. No first floor rooms (to avoid stairs) because they were "replacing carpet". 3. Broken bathroom door. 4. Broken drawer... More

If you have kids this is a great place. lots of outside area with pool, spa, BBQs, tennis. If you get a room that has been renovated it is great. Very clean and has a full kitchen. a two block walk to town. next to everything. i would stay here again. It was between a three and four rating. The... More

We like this place so much that we'd like to discourage you from staying here (which is so hard to do)! As my hotel-appraiser sister would say, this place is functionally obsolescent. We've been here several times, and you never know what condition things will be in. The elevators have been out of commission for months, with no certain plans,... More

The elevators weren't working, the beds were small (but very comfortable), and there was only one bedroom and 2 baths--a funny configuration. But it was in such a good location that we decided we would stay there again--if the price was right.

The elevators do not work. The place is so dated. The hallways depressing. The room still had old style CRT tube TV. The furniture has been there since the 1970's. The carpet was stained and should've been changed many years ago. The patio although large, was weather beaten and looked nothing like the photos on their website. What really upset... More

Yes, the hotel is old & definitely needs some remodeling. But the price is right & the rooms are actually clean and well maintained. Plus the rooms are very large and feature nice private balconies along with a fully stock kitchen. Vlada at the desk was helpful as well. Thanks.

There are some good things about the Marquis: the Jacuzzi is huge and hot, the pool was heated to the point of barely feeling a tinge of cold when you get in; the view to the west is incredible; the garage underground is huge with plenty of parking. The shower had FANTASTIC pressure - no concerns about wasting water -... More

We greatly appreciate the feedback from your recent visit with us. Although this feedback was hard to hear, it is vital information needed to pin-point exactly where our property needs improvements. We strive to provide a welcoming environment that allows our guests to relax upon arrival. However, it seems as though we missed our mark completely. Rest assured, I will... More
