What an amazing experience we had at East Canyon Hotel and SPa. Our company, Zen Casa, hosts several gay retreats in the United States and in Mexico. After my initial visit to East Canyon, I inquired about hosting a gay men's retreat at the resort. The entire staff went above and beyond my expectations. We rented out the entire Hotel...

This was our 5th year coming to Palm Springs and at the East Canyon each time. We love this place! Great room. Lots of space and big bathroom. The pool area is spacious and clean. The pool is heated for the chilly few days a year it's needed. The hot tub is perfect to relax in. The breakfast is always...

Second visit to this property....third time in Palm Springs. Returned to East Canyon because I liked the quiet ambiance that seems to be one of their hallmarks. Even with it being a "full house" weekend (at Hallowe'en)...there never seemed to be a crush of folks anywhere at any one time. Pool area, gardens and exteriors are very attractive (great night-time...

This was my second extended visit to EC. It continues to hold a special place in my heart. The continental breakfast is the nicest you will find both in presentation and content. Perfect hard-boiled eggs, bowls of perfectly ripened fresh fruit on ice, yogurt, pastries, juice, cloth napkins and perfect mugs of coffee make this place unmatched. A few years...

Pluses: Our room was the perfect size. The pool was beautiful. The host (Richard) was charming. Beautiful setting. Opportunities: Music was dated (Kenny G covers and endless Ageless & Evergreen) and not willing to change even after multiple guests made requests (appeared that staff were upset that we asked). Pool towels were occasionally threadbare. Room towels were graying. Pool deck...

This place is simply the best. Absolutely wonderful proprietor (thanks Richard) and the best staff (thanks Michael and Jason). We had a wonderful room, the pool and whirlpool are fantastic, the grounds of the resort are private and well landscaped, the continental breakfast was plentiful, the complimentary afternoon cocktails a wonderful refreshing idea, and so much more. I must again...

The hotel was extremely relaxing and the hosts were very accommodating and so welcoming! I liked the location since it was a little off the main area but not very off. The guests were all nice and quiet which made for an extra relaxing time! I would definitely come back again!

After years of coming to Palm Springs I decided to try East Canyon Hotel and Spa and I'm so glad I did. The hotel is tucked off on a quiet street just off Indian Canyon Drive. Once beyond the front gate it is quiet and peaceful. All of the rooms open directly out to the courtyard and pool. I was...

I've been here twice now, and this is the place I would return to. It's about a 30-minute walk to downtown Palm Springs. Behind the locked gate is small complex of 15-16 rooms off a central swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and air-conditioned. The beds are extremely comfortable. Some have large sofa area. On arrive, rooms...
