This hotel has it all the 1 bedroom villas are so cute. staff is so nice and accommodating will be back. This hotel is very close to downtown but not to close to the hustle and bustle. You will love the grounds the pool is perfect temperature and you can bring your pet for a small fee. That's a bonus.

Extremely pet friendly. That's always a bonus for me. In fact, many guests have their pets around the pool with them (on leash). If you don't like dogs, you may want to consider another option. It was a great way to get to know your neighbors . We were there for the holiday weekend, so they were very busy. People... More

A repeat visit for us - this time a girls weekend away and it was lovely! The weather was hot (but we knew that going in!), and the pool and misters made a perfect weekend in the sun. The staff was super friendly and accommodating - since one of our party had an important business call right after check-out, she... More

From the moment you arrive you know your at a different type of hotel. The office is quaint and personal. You are one on one with either Joe or Michael and every effort is being made to insure that your stay will be exceptional. Check-in is both quick and efficient, you collect your pool towels, then you are on your... More

We filled the hotel for a whole week in July with family and friends. Weather was HOT but the misters around pool area really helped. Intimate, kitchens, living rooms and close to downtown. Owners and managers are just wonderful, made us feel so welcome.

This is the best get away. It is so comfortable and peaceful. The Staff have outstanding customer service and are very caring towards your needs. There is increased value when staying during the off season when they offer specials. This caring and comfort from the staff is key. This is why I return year after year.

Reading prior reviews, I thought this was going to be an extraordinary "boutique" place. Instead, it was just OK. We would have probably been happier if we had only paid $80 or so. But for the price we paid ($119 in the off-season), we could have stayed at the Hyatt, the Renaissance, or any of a number of higher-end properties.... More

We've stayed here twice now and we just love it. There's no "scene" here. It's just simply quaint and charming, a perfect little getaway! The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and the pool is heaven.

We love going to A Place in the Sun in the summer. Usually less people and traffic. The hotel is always clean and comfortable, everyone that works there treats you like family. That's why we have been coming back for 16 years.

My family and I have been coming to this hotel for many years for a quiet and relaxing retreat from the stresses of city life. Always clean and well maintained, the quests were quiet and respectful of one another. But it seems that the party has come past the downtown strip and has made its way to A Place in... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. This happens sometimes. It can be a blessing, because we love the business; but also a curse, when we get a large group but not large enough to take over the whole hotel. Usually the atmosphere is "the more the merrier" at these functions, but I know that's not always... More
