Detailed Reviews
Many thanks to Charles for the email communication before my arrival. My flight arrived at 9pm and the resort has a special procedure for late check-in which was very easy to follow and I had no issues.
During my stay, all the desert paradise resort staff (Jeff, William, and Jorge) were attentive, courteous, and amazing! Each of them made my stay very comfortable. Jeff always answered all my questions with a smile! A true gem.
The resort itself was very clean and full of grass/greenery/flowers (despite being in the desert) and sounds of water flowing. There’s even a turtle and some fish in the pond. I loved the outdoor shower. The pool was heated and there’s a Weber grill available for guests to use (I myself did not use it but thought it cool that guests can grill burgers/meats for a meal. There are a few grocery stores within 5min drive.) Note during my stay the sauna and steam room were closed.
Room was very clean. I stayed in the deluxe king ADA room (pls see attached photos.) Breakfast was included.
Wireless internet was pretty good. I worked remotely one morning and had no network issues (WiFi speed will vary depending where you are located and how many people are concurrently using it but from my experience, speed ranged from 300-400Mbps.)
I’d definitely stay here again. All the guests I met were friendly, low key, and down to earth. They also came from all over the country!
Many thanks to Jeff, William, and Jorge for making my stay enjoyable and relaxing from beginning to end!

2020 was a horrible year for travel due to the pandemic. It was bad for my annual resort in Palm Springs. When they closed the made a referral to another resort, Desert Paradise. I therefore came here to visit for the first time and am so pleased with it that I'll make it my annual vacation venue in Palm Springs. The pool is a saline pool which I swam in for the very first time. Saline is very kind for the skin. Your skin will not dry out as chlorinated water will do. The continental breakfast is outstanding. When the cafe opens in the morning guests go to the counter outside the cafe and place an order and designate whether you prefer your meal delivered to your room or to a poolside table. The housekeeping staff exceed excellence. The rooms are spotless and very loving. If you need something, all you have to do is ask them. They are also loving care providers. If they see that you are getting too much sun they'll advise you that you need to get out of the sun for a while and use sunscreen.

I want to thank the crew there - Charles, Jorge and the rest for their hospitality and warmth.
We travel with water bottles to mitigate plastics in the environment so we appreciated the filtered water dispenser by the pool. The breakfast was a very nice touch.
We will definitely return!

I'd been at this property many years ago under different ownership, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. While the place is an older facility (as are all the others in the area), the new owners have done a great job sprucing up the place and adding modern touches. The room was clean and comfortable, well air-conditioned and spacious.
Outside, the pool was cooler than at most other places I've been in the area; the rafts and floaties were in good shape and not tattered or worn; the grounds were well-manicured and landscaped; they did their best to provide lots of shade to enjoy. The weekend happy hour was a nice surprise, and the staff were all friendly and ready to assist with anything that came up.
All in all, a good choice. We will be returning.

Spent our 7 year anniversary there. Carson was sweet enough to help me surprise my husband with champagne.
We had planned on doing so much in and around Palm Springs during our trip, but found ourselves just wanting to stay at the resort.
Which meant a lot of time in the pool that resulted in a sunburn and mosquito bites. Jeremy was so kind to offer sunscreen and even brought some tea tree oil to room to help with the bites.
I can not say enough about the staff and their welcoming vibe. Definitely planing another trip sooner than later!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at! It started with check in. Jeff the manager was condescending, extremely rude and gave us a very unwelcoming greeting. When booking this reservation I specifically told Jeff we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. We didn’t even get a happy birthday peep out of him. He was just complaining about his help. He needs to take a course on management and customer service skills because he clearly has no clue. The place was extremely dirty and run down and we never got fresh towels, our garbage emptied or had our bed made. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty at check in and when we asked to get it filled we were felt as though we were asking for the world. If you want to stay at a run down horrible gay motel 6 this is the roach motel for you. Never again and if you have reservations here do yourself a favor and cancel them. Much better places to stay for same price. Unfortunately we got ripped off.

We initially had reservations at La Dolce Vita, but it closed. We were rescued by the manager who worked there, Rich Levy. Rich didn’t leave us hanging with no place to stay on New Year’s Eve. He contacted us and recommended Desert Paradise. We were so glad he directed us to this resort. Desert Paradise is quiet and relaxing. The steam room, hot tub and dry sauna were so appreciated on this rare chilly moment in Palm Springs. We enjoyed their happy hour with a full bar too. Breakfast each morning is delivered to your room. Who could ask for more? We encountered 2 other couples who were booked at La Dolce Vita that were saved by Rich with the recommendation of Desert Paradise. Great resort to ring in the New Year!

I honestly Can not believe how amazing this resort is! Charles and the crew at desert paradise go way above and beyond for their guest. Perfect sized resort for relaxing and unwinding. Pool, hottub, lounge chairs beverages all available. Simple yet satisfying breakfast included each morning served directly to your room or poolside. Outside shower, koi pond, hammock, low background music to enjoy the views of the tall mountains and palm trees surrounding. Daily cleaning of outside space and rooms . Close to everything very walkable or quick low price uber to downtown. Clothing optional. Safe clean respectful space. Low key vibes not a party scene. In the future this is the place to stay again . The staff especially Charles are absolutely amazing!

This was our first time staying at the Desert Paradise resort and we were very impressed with the service, David and the team really do go the extra mile to look after their guests. We spent 6 nights at the resort in April, our stay began with a warm welcome, tour of the resort were everything about our room, breakfast and the resort facilities was explained. The pool area was beautiful and did feel like Paradise, the resort was full however we didn’t have any problems getting a sun bed, The breakfast was good with a little more choice than the usual continental Buffett and was served to you in your room or at a table around the pool. We will be returning to the Desert Paradise

Had an amazing time here celebrating my 40th Birthday. My friends stayed at other nearby hotels so I stayed solo but met so many great people at the resort. The entire staff of the hotel are super friendly and they work hard to keep the grounds clean. You get free water and non-alcoholic drinks everyday including a free open bar happy hour from 5pm-6pm on Friday-Sat which is fun. The rooms are spacious and I had a nice size shower with free WIFI. The location is perfect your right next to all the other gay hotels and it's less than mile to downtown area of all the bars. I would highly recommend staying here. People are flirty and friendly but it's definitely not overly cruisy so it's a great place you can relax and make new friends :)

I apologize but I just now realized I have 5 messages in my tripadvisor in box. and I want to thank the other trip advisor members for addressing your question much quicker than I
Hi 24LarryT46 I don't know where you stayed I hope it was with us. I find myself apologizing 4 times tonight for questions we missed but greatly appreciate the assistance offered by west1009 and Mike A.
