The resort is still a clothing optional resort. It’s your choice wether or not you choose to wear a swim suit. After 7 visits to La Dolce Vita, I’d say about 90% of the guests go without. Just my opinion, but why go to a clothing optional resort if you want to wear clothing? There is most certainly still a social hour. It occurs on Friday and Saturday evenings at 5pm. They typically serve margaritas, sangria and beer with pretzels, chips and salsa.

I’ve heard that they sold it to someone else. But, I’ve heard that the new owner is awesome and has a great vision to spruce up the place a bit.
