The Saguaro Palm Springs is a colorful hotel in the desert. There's plenty of sunshine, a buzzing pool scene, and lots of local flavor. The 244 room hotel has multiple restaurants, bars, and meeting spaces -- all of which surround a stunning pool location. Designed to reflect the colorful vibrant spirit of the Coachella Valley desert, the bold color palette is the work of renowned architects Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat, who have infused the property with hues that reflect indigenous desert flowers.

The title of the review says it all - its ok. The room, we booked a king bed suite, was okay. Except for the fact that the wall separating our balcony from the next room was actually just wire bars (i.e. zero privacy from the neighbors). And when I mentioned this to the staff -

There is nooooo way this is a 3 or 4 star hotel. This hotel is outdated as in 60-70 years old without any sign of updating other than retro paint. Furniture in room is retro to have continuity but retro in a dilapidated way. No sign of vintage or boutique, just weathered retro.

I found a deal on Travelzoo and read good comments about this hotel, so I decided to stay at this hotel for 3 nights at the end of a trip in California, to enjoy the pool with my daughter. When I checked in, I explained that I was flying on Friday evening and the person at the

Good evening Johanne V, We do understand your frustration and apologize for this miscommunication regarding the event as you should have been informed during check in. We generally do not have buy outs other than a few times during the year and yes this weekend is one of those buy outs. The event its self is open to the public based on availability and purchase of a ticket. our security team should have relaid that information to you. We did honor our checkout policy of noon time checkout and access to the pool but once we neared the event at 1pm we did need to inform what few guest we had of the event taking place. We do regret that it was handled in such a way to make you feel unwelcome and would love to have you with us again at some point. please feel free to reach us directly so we may discuss further. Thank you

Overall we had a great time! Alondra and everyone else at the front desk is very nice and accommodating! They have free bike rentals (for 2 hours), a shuttle that runs every hour til I think 9pm to and from downtown (upon request), and their happy hour/ taco Tuesday deals are

Hello Curious65578026426, We are thrilled that you joined us and that you had a great time. We certainly will let Alondra and the rest of the team you mentioned them. We are sorry we were unable to resolve the AC issue and or that we were unable to relocate you due to occupancy. We will let our engineering team know so that we can work on being able to find solutions as opposed to not giving you another option in the future. Thank you for your feedback as it goes a long way.

Pretty gross, honestly. I guess you can take cool pictures for the gram, but not that nice IRL. Only one employee provided a level of customer service you’d expect from a hospitality based business. Very few employees even smiled. It’s pretty clear they don’t think they need to
