The Saguaro Palm Springs is a colorful hotel in the desert. There's plenty of sunshine, a buzzing pool scene, and lots of local flavor. The 244 room hotel has multiple restaurants, bars, and meeting spaces -- all of which surround a stunning pool location. Designed to reflect the colorful vibrant spirit of the Coachella Valley desert, the bold color palette is the work of renowned architects Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat, who have infused the property with hues that reflect indigenous desert flowers.

Vibes were high pool area is very cute. Rooms could use a bit of an update. Gym area could also use some love lol. We loved the attentive pool staff and the availability of food and drink at the pool area. The live DJ and vendors were on the weekend were a nice touch. Wouldn’t be my choice for ultimate relaxation but for a girls trip or friend weekend perfect spot,

Outdated hotel with a nice pool. The room smelled, the night stand lamp where you can charge your phone didn’t work, hot water at the sink didn’t work, paper-thin walls, wallboard falling apart, mold in the bathroom. The staff at the restaurant was very nice but poor service by the pool.

I came here for our annual retreat and Hugo really impressed me. He is so kind, so helpful, and has wonderful taste in drinks. Definitely the best bartender I have personally met. He was very attentive and innovative with his craft. Dealer’s choice works out with him.

This was the perfect place to have my bachelorette weekend! I came with a group of 10 to celebrate and we pretty much stayed at the Saguaro the whole time. El Jefe has delicious breakfast and drinks, the DJ by the pool was LIT, the whole hotel is gorgeous- I could go on and on. I have to say though, our poolside sever Jio made our weekend a 10/10. We were taken care of very well since the first day of the trip and we owe it all to him! It was such a blast. I promise you will not be bored here! We’re already planning on coming back because we don’t feel like we saw it all in three days.

The place has great staff, but I can’t believe the have a remote guy in charge of the music that plays throughout. Accessible varieties of music are available virtually everywhere these days, and this guy has the same loop playing over and over and over - and it’s not good! Imagine being stuck in an elevator for hours on end. I don’t know how the employees don’t go crazy.

We came for the sun and pool. Lucky to find a place with you. Maybe because it was Wednesday, the pool bar/food service a bit chaotic- utensils and napkins please - but drinks good and food delicious. Also, the music choice at the pool was suspect for families. Oh how we love to hear a male vocalist tell us how he can please a woman, what she deserves and needs, and their flattering word choices for the female form. Maybe some attention to the lyrics especially when so many kids are about. However, for a last minute stay, we had a comfortable and fun time.

The staff there is so so. They could be nicer. The pool area was fun. Drinks are pretty basic and $15. Free rental bikes are cool but uncomfortable. Had breakfast at the restaurant. It was solid. They took half of the lounge chairs from the pool area on Thursday because they were setting up for a big, White Party festival that we had no idea about. The website said nothing about it. We are so glad that we left before it started because there wouldn’t have been any chairs at the pool!

It was a very sad experience. This former has been place needs so much attention: Paint on walls, repair to room items. Our room (321) had no chair for the desk, desk light didn't work, end stand lights charger plugs didn't work, even the dark out curtain pull was missing! A $50 amenity fee per day was not worth it. There was no advertised consierge. We had early booked in with a 4 am. arrival, yet when we arrived, we HAD TO WAIT 30 MINUTES to check in because the staff was on lunch!!! The front desk staff was friendly. But not enough to make up for this disappointing stay.

We were excited to stay here after celebrating the marriage of our dear friends out in the desert; it touts a chic retro vibe, is welcoming to all, is close to the airport, and looked to be all that we wanted for a fun day by the pool before heading home. I never leave reviews but we were disappointed from the moment we arrived and I felt like our experience was likely similar to what others may experience despite the price tag and pretty pictures. We were a little early (maybe an hour) for check-in, but wore our swimsuits and were ready to just order a cocktail and wait by the pool till our room was ready. The front desk staff did not acknowledge us when we entered, they were unfriendly to the point of rudeness (as if we were inconveniencing them), and their means of 'holding' your luggage for you until check-in is leaving it out in the lobby hallway. We paid in full before arriving, but were charged two additional fees for 'convenience' and 'amenities' upon checking in. - The hotel itself is a maze and it is very difficult to navigate from one side to the other without using service stairwells and having to go outside. There is no navigational signage and the layout is not intuitive. The hallways have a musty smell and the walls were not properly prepped before painting. Images look cheery with bright whites and a literal rainbow of colors but they are cracked and pealing from lack of maintenance. - Our room was large, colorful, and cute like website pictures portray, but no touchups have been made as the rooms have been upgraded or repaired; there was a 12" strip of the old pealing wall color showing around the current vanity light fixture in the bathroom and holes in the walls from old decor had not been patched or painted over. The table lamp next to the bed was fluorescent and flickered and there were only two usable outlets in the '2 queen beds' room. In the modern world, two outlets isn't enough for one person much less 4 adults with computers and cellphones and watches and curling irons etc. Unfinished spaces, smells, and lack of attention to detail like this made the room feel dirty even if it was clean. For the price and how it is advertised, it definitely isn't the chic experience we were hoping it would be.
