The Saguaro Palm Springs is a colorful hotel in the desert. There's plenty of sunshine, a buzzing pool scene, and lots of local flavor. The 244 room hotel has multiple restaurants, bars, and meeting spaces -- all of which surround a stunning pool location. Designed to reflect the colorful vibrant spirit of the Coachella Valley desert, the bold color palette is the work of renowned architects Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat, who have infused the property with hues that reflect indigenous desert flowers.

I hate leaving a less than favorable review but I will not stay at this hotel again. It was incredibly costly (over $400/night post “fees”) yet I’ve stayed in chain hotels that are of better quality. The hotel looks nice, but the rooms themselves are underwhelming: Beds were very uncomfortable, sheets are best described as rough. We paid for a king suite but the bedroom of the suite was situated next to the exterior public access walkway to other rooms, so you are awoken at every passerby. That room should prob be the lesser cost of all the rooms. The bathrooms were old. I was very disappointed in how much I paid for vs what was received. Lastly, watch the hotel rates as they appear to fluctuate significantly. Upon checkout, my travel partners room was hundreds of dollars less than mine for the weekend; we booked the same room. Booking in advance did not work in my favor.

I just booked three additional nights! Chic setting and friendly staff-Randy and Anna could answer any question I had. I enjoyed the colorful pool area and hot tubs. It was easy to relax with restaurant and cantina on site. I just booked a massage for tomorrow

I have just returned from a trip to California with my family after many years. I wanted to write expressing my thanks and appreciation towards Patrick Nash at the front desk. We arrived in Palm Springs after a long drive from Sequoia National Park. It was dark and we were tired. He immediately put us at ease and had the most delightful manner, not only with us but every person that he checked in or assisted in some way. We were so impressed we decided to stay an additional night. Again, each time we went to the front desk, (and he seemed to be there 24/7) he was there to greet us with a smile and humour. Having worked as a front desk supervisor in California some 20 years ago I understand the demand and pressure, especially during the busy Christmas period. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our 3-week stay he stood out above and beyond any customer facing person we dealt with. He was exceptional! We loved the Saguaro and everything Palm Springs had to offer.

The ambience of this hotel is a lot of fun, especially for families, but our room was very dirty in a deep, “this can’t be fixed with a cleaning” kind of way. The carpet was visibly stained, the bathroom floor and bathtub even worse, the furniture was worn with old colored sticky spots from stains still on the chairs. I brought my two year old son, and while he loved the colors, I wouldn’t let him take his shoes off or bathe in the tub. For 200 dollars, it had a motel room vibe.

We went with friends who stay at less expensive hotels than we usually do so our review is somewhat skewed by that. Pros: inexpensive, colorful, fun, great hot tub and pool scene, delicious and fun restaurant, nice and positive staff., ordered items arrived quickly. Cons: uncomfortable beds, long lines, hard to reach by phone, hard to find your way to the lobby through the hotel's maze, late check in time, chaotic service at restaurant, woken up at 6 am with upstairs guests sounding like hoard of elephants.

Second visit. Its fun, vibrant with good staff and good drinks. I would stay again. If you are looking for a sophisticated and quiet hotel then this probably isn't for you. If however a loud, brash hotel with neons and day glows is what you're after then this may be it. Both my visits have been at Christmas so it's quieter than usual, no djs by the pool and certainly no all night partying.. I may give that a miss to be honest. The rooms are clean and all have good views of either the pool or the surrounding mountains. Strangest minibar I have seen in any hotel with a good range of drinks, snacks, lube and condoms... Fun place in a fun town.

My girlfriend and I booked this hotel between visiting our families for the holidays as a way to recharge and relax some place fun. Saguaro did not disappoint! It’s the cutest hotel. Great service from Maria at the front desk! Great pool view room. Dog friendly. LGBTQIA+ friendly. Love all the colors.

Hi 886leeannb, The Dine99 package is a great deal, and we offer it only a few times throughout the year, you just can't beat the delicious food and bevvies at El Jefe and the pool. We also keep the pool heated this time of year to 82 degrees and the spas at 102 degrees. Thank you for staying!

I probably would not have booked here - but we were joining a group who had all booked individually. Between 2.30 and just after 4.00pm we all trickled in - and we all got sent to the bar with a free voucher. NONE of our rooms were ready. This was a Monday. The excuse was that they had a busy weekend. Our plan had been to enjoy the pool but by the time we got our rooms it was getting dark. The rooms are as described on the website but are veery plain; with towels that are certainly not fluffy. Paper coffee cups (why do American hotels do this!!); and plastic wine glasses (SO poor for the environment!). Our room never got serviced the next day but they made sure to charge us for mini bar use after we left (which we hadn't used). T he bar is greta as are their tacos. I wouldn't eat breakfast there. Funnily - after we checked out we got an e mail saying that our check out time had been extended - so ironic. I finally got my room service charge refunded - it took days of e mail to get someone to respond. They are clearly understaffed however if that is the case they should not sell all their rooms. I would never return even though the pool is spectacular.
