This place was very disgusting when I checked in I went into the room and the room had a terrible order smell like a morgue there it had a very moldy smell in and the room had a cold feeling to it the bathroom was very dirty and nasty tub was never clean the floor had stains on it the soap dish was never clean the furniture was raggedy has stains on it I was afraid to sit down because I haven't had a tetanus shot in a while so I didn't want to catch anything and the air vent had mold coming out of it and they have nerves to try to charge closer $300 a night the only best part was had a nice view and the street fair, the Hyatt it should be a shade of their self this was far from the Hyatt standards I stayed at many Hyatt hotels and they seem like they were the five star this was a one star I would not recommend stating here again I didn't even stay the night I left because I didn't want to sleep standing up Hyatt get your stuff together and laying in the bed looking up the paint was peeling from the ceiling…
Nice hôtel , lobby and check in. Room suite junior, with private balcony with Mountain view Wonderfull. Room very comfortable. In very downtown lPalm Spring. Before I was at Renaissance and chose definitively Hyatt Régence Good raté.
Arrived with coworkers and a few people in our party were not able to check in until after 5:30 due to rooms not being cleaned in time. Dirty bathroom with hair all over the bathroom wall. They were out of all the food on the menu except $15 salad that was wilted and brown. The hotel automatically checked me out of my room the first day of a two day trip so I was locked out of my room and cleaning staff came in and cleaned my room because they thought I was supposed to be checked out. Cards were deactivated multiple times without having contact with things that can deactivate card, Happened so often the staff became annoyed with us each time to get new cards.
Good for little break during the weekend where we can enjoy a lot of good restaurant, side seeing, little walk around the city and shopping. Exploring the neighbor hood city like Palm Dessert and Indio are also good.
The Hotel is below standard compared to other Hyatt's across the country. So far as location in Palm Springs , you can't beat it! Nice balcony to just chill, talk with your company, cocktails and relax. Furniture in the suite had spots on it, wood peeling on the night stand. Put it like this! It can sure use an upgrade.
Old dated property with rooms in need of drastic updates. More like a Motel Six with staff too busy talking to themselves vs servicing customers Kitchen had an issue that precluded service do customers were told they could go down the street. Their “ Gift shop was a joke and nothing for Apple phones all androids.
That is the best thing I can say about this hotel. Staff undertrained, valet parking only for $45. In the heart of Palm Springs for party people. Very loud and hotel is showing age. Poorly trained front desk.
I expect more from a Hyatt property. The location is great, right in downtown Palm Springs. The rooms are huge (much too large really) but the condition of the hotel is poor. Every surface is worn, rusted or stained. This needs a renovation badly.
Hotel was nice. Staff friendly. Easy location. Got a room with a view that overlooked the mountains.Shower head was terrible. Rooms are a little dated. They could upgrade with a lighted makeup mirror and a shower cap. Overall, I would stay here again.
We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and have witnessed the decline in service. It is clearly obvious that they have a difficult time hiring staff. The front desk man that initially helped me was so unprofessional. Parking is valet only and $45 per night. We were able to park on our own and the signs were ominous w safety. I will not stay here again….
