Absolutely loved it at Ingleside Inn, Palm Springs. The historic charm of the inn, is welcome in a town of stark post modernism. The Inn is a Spanish Style villa built to be lived in, and then converted into a hotel. It is small and charming and historically significant to Palm Springs, too. Celebrities and "normals" alike stay here for... More

As you pass through the iron gated entrance, you are transported back to the heyday of Old Palm Springs. The lovely, lush grounds instantly give the feel of a time when things moved at a more leisurely (and hip) pace. The Spanish architecture, lovely lobby and quick check-in, have you anxiously anticipating your room. My husband and I checked into... More

Always a memorable stay at the historic and famous Ingleside Inn. Been staying here since it opened over 40 years ago. Lots of accommodations to choose from. Lovely standard rooms to exquisite suites, all decorated with care and style. Rooms are comfortable with all the upscale amenities that you expect in such an elegant setting. Beautiful pool and spa with... More

I have stayed at the Ingleside Inn for over 35 years and I never regret going back. Whether you want a small room in back or a suite for a special trip you get old Palm Springs charm, privacy and a non-crowded adult experience. Melvins Restaurant can serve up an after dinner cocktail or dine in your suite experience. Frank... More

It's been 6 years since the last trip to Palm Springs but we returned to the Ingleside Inn since we love the character of the place. The staff never change and the hotel, located on the edge of Palm Springs is close enough to the action but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our room was clean... More

I have stayed at Ingleside Inn twice and really enjoyed myself. The Inn is step back to what Palm Springs was "back in the day." The pool is huge and great to swim or relax. The rooms are individually named and each room has its own décor.

We were here on a blessedly rare cooler weekend in May. The in-wall AC unit was not able to keep up with cooling the room to comfortable levels with the outdoor temperatures being in the 90s during the day, which meant the first part of the night was difficult to sleep. The little square fridge inside the room was also... More

This is a place you should stay. Worth a special trip to Palm Springs. I've gone for a week and never left the gates. Hands down the best lodging ever. This is the mansion where Greta All rooms are unique and furnished with beautiful anti Garbo lived out the last several decades of her long life after declaring: "I vant... More

It was a refreshing change the the sameness of most modern hotels with a unique charm and beautiful grounds. You could just imagine the previous famous guests sauntering around the grounds. A welcome basket of goodies in our room was a nice touch and the complimentary newspaper. The only downside was that our room was very close to the next... More

What a fun place to stay, reeking with Hollywood history and reflecting a classic, old world ambiance. This is not 5 star, pretentious, chain-owned lodging; but rather a captivating, old, small hotel with tasteful upgrades, featuring numerous styles and individual room decors. There may be an occasional, slightly worn edge here and there; but it is all well maintained and... More
