Step back into the bygone era of high class and elegance. A stay at the Ingleside Inn is one to remember. I have been staying at this Inn ever since it opened over 40 years ago. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms with all the high end amenities that you would expect from such a first-class establishment. Everything from standard... More

We stumbled onto the Ingleside on HotelTonight and are so very glad we did. We were looking for something unique charming, romantic and quiet. We found all of those things here. The service was amazing. Everyone was so nice. We were blown away by the room. We were given the Library room and at first though we must have been... More

great people watching in the bar along with $13 glasses of miserably bad wine. the place is fun but anyone who thinks the food is 4 or 5 stars has apparently not eaten out anywhere else for the last 40 years.

This hotel is in serious need of upgrades and yet prices are still pretty high. Lobby is charming enough but service is lacking and not until I complained twice because first bathroom was dirty did they switch my room. New room is better but still very sub par for the price. Cold, old, and damp. No more vintage and charming... More

We stay here when we're in Palm Springs and every Christmas. This time we noticed that the room service had declined in quality and the room was in slight disrepair. The shower dripped all night and then stopped operating fully. Management needs to do periodic quality inspections. Despite these things, I will stay next year.

We stay here whenever we're in Palm Springs because it's centrally located (walkable), quiet, charmingly retro -- plus Mel's piano bar on-site has live music nightly. There is great variety in their category of "standard" room, and we have always been accommodated graciously if we are assigned a standard room that is too dark or lacks a place to sit... More

The atmosphere and history of this wonderful place has to be shared with anyone who loves the golden age of movie stars and great stories! The owner adds an incredible spice to the experience of dining and staying here. He's written a small book about the adventures that brought the Inn to us. The book includes quaint stories of movie... More

I spent two awful lights at the Ingleside Inn. Had one of the rooms on the rear of the building in what must have been the servants quarters during the era of the "stars". I found none of that allure. Instead I had a small dark and musty room with a bathroom that must have been renovated by day laborers... More

In the Golden Age of the Silver Screen, mainly from the 40's through the 50's before the Jet Age this was the favorite hideaway for the likes of Sinatra, Hope, Tracey, Gable, etc. In a remote but not-too-distant quiet road on the southwest part of town since 1939 this 1925 former home of the owner of the legendary Pierce Arrow...
