Yes, it has been 12 years since our first visit. No reason other than we just haven't been back. Now we visited during the pandemic. The staff handled this issue very well. We had a fantastic time and met some really great people. Just booked again for next April. Truly a great place to vacation clothes free... safe and secure. Everything is well maintained and the rooms are super clean. We had the larger king room with kitchen... Shopped local stores for our food. Was about as good as being home. Try it... You will like it!

We have been coming here for about 12 years once or twice per year and love it. We are leaving today and we’re here the week you reopened. However, some changes are occurring. The serenity pool on Saturdays isn’t so “serene.” You are not permitted outside beverages when the cafe is open. No coffee machines available on premises unless staying in rooms 5, 6, or 7. We understand COVID has changed things and are empathetic to the business woes companies are facing. However, forcing people to buy/pay for a service is not the way to happy customers. The drinks provided are not that great! I don’t mind walking to 7-Eleven to get my morning cup of joe but would prefer to stay on premises and even give DSR my business. We will continue to return but do hope that the coffee machine returns in the lobby or other location available to guests. We always bring our own k-cups. We do appreciate that the ice machine is available this time as it wasn’t when you reopened.

It is still the premier CO resort on the west coast. When we were there, they were updating the hotel rooms by the main pool. It is nice to see they are committed to making improvements. The staff is courteous and welcoming. The place is spotless and well maintained. However, the gym needs new equipment. The location is close to all of the action on Palm Cayon Drive, which is essential because of the limited hours for the in house bar and restaurant. They are open for lunch every day, but Dinner is only available Friday and Saturday. Breakfast is served on Sunday only. The guests are generally late middle age or older but very friendly. It is still a more traditional CO resort and is not LS friendly. Unlike many of CO resorts, they do let single men stay.
