Can't go wrong with Holiday Inn Express. Great beds and pillows. Price is right. Service is always friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a very convenient location with breakfast every morning. Just what we needed!
Hotel just "ok" but not a welcoming place. The front desk treats you like you're a homeless person wanting to steal their towels, as if the $150 plus taxes wasn't overpriced enough, they whack you for another $100 for "incidentals" which is now money you can't have on your credit card. They are totally unapologetic about the charge, they simply don't care. I get it if you're a homeless person with no credit card wanting to pay cash for a room, but I've been a business traveler for over 30 years, and NEVER have been hit with an incidentals charge. But as I said, they are not welcoming and they just don't care if you don't like it. Breakfast was nothing special, I was afraid if I had a cup of coffee they would whack me for it, so went out to eat. Stay away from this place unless you like getting whacked for nothing.…
The room was good, the breakfast was good. The check in was highly questionable. We were not told that room make up must be requested if staying more than one day, nor where the elevator was located, nor the breakfast hours. For this price, I expected a lot better. No room make upwas unacceptable.
There really is no better place to stay in Oroville, CA. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff makes this place great; they were very friendly, eager to please and helpful. Ran out of shaving cream and they were able to give me a free small can, thank you! The free continental breakfast was convenient and week maintained. Downgraded a bit only because it was a bit pricey. There is a Sonic in the adjoining parking lot that makes for easy access to food.
Stayed here while in town for business. Well appointed rooms and very friendly reception team. Breakfast was standard fare but well stocked and tasty. Good location in town, near several stores and restaurants. Close to highway. Will definitely stay here again.
We were in Oroville for a wedding. This Holiday Inn Express has been recently updated and looks amazing! Our stay (one night) was great. Clean, modern rooms. Quiet and comfortable. Rates are very reasonable for the area. Skip the desk manager is very helpful as well as Gary. Skip and spoke as if we were long time friends. I highly recommend this establishment for your stay in Oroville California.
Had booked weekend stays 2 different times the past couple of months for bowling tournaments What’s impressive is the variety offered with the free buffet breakfast Better than other establishments Rooms are roomy with enough usb outlets Will stay again in the future
Don't know wheat Holiday Inn in Oroville is thinking -- $189 a night??? The town itself is a poduck town, filled with methheads, drunks and homeless. Stayed there for 3 days before leaving the state and you would think this hotel was in downtown Sacramento or Roseville with their prices.Much, much too high for this area. They are gauging folks. The key cards my family was given kept failing and failing at least twice a day and having to run downstairs to have them redone by the customer service rep. Very annoying, especially when your hands are full and you are trying to get back inside your paid room. Their no pet policy is also unsat as they said they used to allow pets but no longer do. Luckily our vet was across the street and we boarded our 2 cats there before flying out. I am now in Houston staying at a 3 star hotel that does allow pets, and paying $69 to $73 a night for 2 queen beds, with breakfast just like the Holiday Inn of Oroville. I had called around before having to book at this hotel to Gold Country Casino and their charges for 2 queens was $107 a night. Had my vehicle not gotten shipped out, my family would have stayed there. …
We were bowling a tournament in Oroville and were lucky enough to get a room there. All the rooms seemed to be booked while we were in town. Our stay was pleasant. Check-in was fast and the staff was friendly. Whenever we had any questions, they were more than happy to help. The room was spacious was a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The location is convenient. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it actually shares a parking lot with Sonic. If we ever visit Oroville again, we would stay here again.
This is a great holiday inn express! I’m staying here on business for a fair amount of time and really enjoy this place. It’s clean, the morning breakfast is very enjoyable, they have a small gym, and an indoor pool. It’s quite, safe and all of the workers are very pleasant.
