The general impression was not to stay there. it looked a bit "depleted" and maybe not so safe, someone had tried to break into one window. But it was late and we needed a cheaper stay for a night or two. The whole place was a sad story really. But the room was ok after all, for one night. The breakfast was not worth mentioning, as so often unfortunately. More of an unhealthy snack than breakfast. Not to be recommended. But for one night, ok.

The absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in: - Dirty Walls. - Unfriendly Staff, VERY two faced, especially the room cleaners (IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO STAY AT THIS HELLHOLE, THEN HIDE YOUR BELONGINGS WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR ROOM). - Stinky soap and hard water. - Broken screen on windows. - Filthy pool. - Unappetizing complimentary breakfast. - No extra towels provided and there was ONLY one piece of tissue inside the box when I checked into the room. - Dirty microwave, trash left inside the refrigerator upon my arrival. - Bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable, hardest pillows I've ever slept on in my entire life, which made me toss all night long and wake up in excruciating pain. - Also, the bedspread was clearly stained, which made me want to check-out immediately after setting foot in the room. When I initially walked into the lobby, the hotel concierge at the front desk was already in a heated argument with another guest who yelled out, "I don't trust you!", which was very shocking to me. They went back and forth for awhile about discrepancies with the billing, apparently the guest felt she was being over charged and there were more fees that she wasn't privy to when she first checked into the Econo Lodge. This truly made me a little standoffish upon my arrival but I was out of time and chose to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt. However, after staying there for a couple nights, I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that I would NEVER recommend this hotel to ANYONE for ANY REASON. Bottomline, the room was unclean, the rate was not really reasonable, the surrounding area was boring, and the staff was unscrupulous. This Econo Lodge is deplorable; I will never return to this wretched place.

This hotel is for someone looking for the basic standards. It is one step better than staying at your uncle’s house. I stayed for two nights. There is free parking. WiFi is free as well but it is kind of slow. The room was a decent in size. The bed was big but uncomfortable. There is a window looking at the street; for some reason I could hear the noise from all the cars passing by. I guess it has to do with bad isolation. The bathroom could get some updating as well. The biggest complain was that the knob for the hot water can be too sensitive. A slight movement to the left and you are burning. Other than that the room was ok. The continental “breakfast is a joke.” They offer cereal, milk, toast, crumbs cake and a cupcakes. I was expecting bacon, eggs and sausages. The orange juice machine was broken too. What a disappointment. The only reason I’m giving this place a two stars is because their customer service was superb. I arrived before lunch, per my request they cleaned and prepared my room ahead of time and let me check in early. The room didn’t come with an iron machine. After a long flight I needed to press my clothes. They let me borrow one at the front desk. Lastly, I left my keys in the room. They activated a second set of keys for me. I have nothing but compliments for their staff. However the facilities could get some improvements.

Rooms were musty smelling, could not open window for fresh air. Bed felt like you were sleeping on plywood (and don't move around, it's very noisy). If you're tall forget about a shower unless you like bending over. Complained about noisy neighbors on 2nd day (they checked out). But they put another noisy neighbor back the next night. The property was not sold out either. Why would you not leave that room vacant? Not a great area either and they warned about that on check in.

My husband was scheduled to have surgery in Fontana & this Econo Lodge was pet friendly. Room was spacious & had a refrigerator, microwave & hair dryer. Exactly what we needed. Staff was very accommodating & even came up to the room at 8:30 pm to fix a problem with the TV. Parking lot is very well lit at night. All rooms are inside entry. Thanks Mason!!
