Rented two condos here for a mid week getaway w/ our adult kids. Enjoyed two beautiful hikes, hard to really gauge as much of the village was closed due to off season, mid-week, possibly C19, so pretty much had the place to ourselves. They made snow every night, getting ready for what hopefully will be a wet Winter!

Room was perfect for my husband & I. I just wished it had air conditioning. loved that it had, everything you have in your own place. we got what we asked for, which was a close view of donner lake. we were on bottom floor. you were able to walk to dock & fish, swim & enjoy. Not far from town. has a lot of places to eat & or take walks. The staff was wonderful & helpful. I would definitely go back. & also recommend friends & Family

We came into Squaw Valley Lodge on Friday September 25 to do some hiking around Lake Tahoe. The front desk service was nice and helpful. The room was big with a kitchen area table, a living area and separate bed and bath. It’s a little dated looking with tile countertops and a worn out looking sofa. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was dated looking as well. The only real issue we had was that they did not have air conditioning and it was hot. They said well it will get cooler at night so we don’t need A/C. Well the problem with this is you need to leave the windows open, they did provide a fan, which helped. But after hiking all day we needed a rest, with the windows open, even using a fan you can hear everything outside. From the workers taking and banging to the children at the park and their dogs. Wish we had know they didn’t have a/c we would have gone somewhere else.

Right in front of KT-22 lift. We stayed in Deluxe Studio. The fact, that this hotel is the closest place to the slopes and the lifts makes it amazing, but the rest points (such as cleanness, bed comfort, noise and etc.) are just average. We had neighbors upstairs and have heard every single step they made (and their children of course). Outdated interiors are nice but need some fixing and cleaning here and there. Parking is tiny. The pool was nice, but you have to register in advance to visit

Yes, you correct. We do have an amazing location! I also want to remind you that with the current Covid safety policies in place we have a reservation system in place for the swimming pool for guest safety. I do hope you reached out to the Front Desk with your noise complaints. They would have been very happy to call your upstairs neighbors and ask them to be a bit more gentle. Additionally and for future reference, we have three covered parking areas for guests. Thank you for visiting us at Squaw Valley Lodge.
