Can't have a better location. Next to Red Dog lift, and a minute walk to Squaw Village, and next to Squaw-Kids for ski lesson for kids under 12. Great ski in-ski out location. The units are clean, and updated. love the log cabin touches throughout the unit. Perfect for the family of four (in a one bedroom). Friendly, and helpful...

This is a wonderful little resort. The management goes out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. The resort is set up to make it really easy to ski. You have a key to go out the side gate and you are immediately on the slope, very close to Red dog chair lift. They have ski...

Our purpose for the trip was to ski. Review is based on that. Truely a ski in and ski out resort. We had a one bedroom full kicthen. Room was very clean, and resort employees were very helpful. Best deal at Squaw. Highly recommend this resort for skiers. Thinking seriously of returning.

Slopeside, only a short walk to lifts, they try very hard to be great. The only problem is the loud snowmaking equipment. The noise could keep you up all night and the air is so dry you wake up d/t parched throat, not that that is their fault. Not all rooms have balconies which is a real downfall. Comfy bedding...

We love staying at this resort. It is very low key and friendly, helpful staff. There is no where more convenient at Squaw--walk out back gate and ski to Red Dog Lift. Even the studio has a full kitchen and a fireplace. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at The Red Wolf Lodge and loved it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and inviting. The resort was close to everything, close enough that we shuttled in and had no need for a car. Can't wait for our next trip to Tahoe!

Our room was a 1 bedroom with lots of room. Very comfortable, and everything that we needed. The only problem is the loud snowmaking equipment. The resort needs to muffle the noise that could keep you up all night.

My room - or should I say apartment - at the Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley was incredible! It was spacious, had a full kitchen, a living room, dining area, full bathroom and a closed-off bedroom, not to mention private deck with a view of the mountains. While the room truly blew me away, the most impressive part is...

When we first walked into our room we immediately liked the decor and atmosphere. It was cozy and extremely comfortable. From the electric fireplace, the microfiber blankets, heated bathroom and open kitchenette. It's perfect after a long day out on the slopes to warm up. There is plenty of hot tub space and the clubhouse has a sauna, some exercise...

Hello Folks from Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley. Were planning to stay in your property for the week Mar 29- Apr 5, 2015. Can you guys give me a heads up on what activities we can do during this time ( Im with my family). What weather do we expect for that week? What types of clothes do we need to prepare to feel comfortable as we go around the localities and cities that surround Lake Tahoe? Ill itemize my other queries here:

1. Were coming from Fairfield, CA and were renting a minivan, Do we need snow tires during this time of the year? We will be renting the van for 2 or more weeks, as we are venturing on a long road trip (with 2 or 3 1-2 day stopovers) from Olympic valley to San Diego.

2. This will be our first time to live in a ski resort. We dont ski and we dont have any bit of experience. What sort of activity can we do if it is totally unfamiliar to us?

3. What sort of seasonal activities/festivals/ events are expected in the surrounding areas of Olympic Valley, incl Incline Village, Tahoe City, Tahoe Vista, Stateline Nevada, Zephyr cove and south lake tahoe? Is it also worth to visit Reno?

4. Are there nearby convenient stores, supermarkets or even marketplace in Olympic valley? You may call us Mall rats, but my children's pastime is visiting and hanging out in malls. is there any nearby?

5. Are your outdoor pools heated? If not, do you have indoor pools that are heated? We dont have much body insulation (all of us are slender) and my kids are scared stiff of the idea of swimming in early spring cold weather.

Well, thats about all the things I need to ask. When something comes to mind, Ill come back. Thanks Guys in advance for your response, In the meantime, pls allow me to greet our future hosts a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous and Fulfilling New Year!
