Free bikes, guided hikes and a quaint village to explore in a pristine setting. Gorgeous! Exceptional customer service. This was my first studio rental and the bed was tiny for my 6` 4" husband. This would be an excellent place for families with lids of all ages.

Love the ambiance for the area. Late check-in a breeze and available at midnight! The staff at the front desk, tour guides for biking & hiking were great for the entire family. They all knew alot of activities to do locally and in town. A couple of restaurants next door or 10 minutes away in town. Cooking in the unit... More

We did a timeshare exchange here. Very nice overall. Beautiful surroundings. Laundry, bikes, movies, 1st day breakfast, clubhouse, saunas, free wifi, covered parking, daily paper, nice staff, 2 tv's, clean rooms, nice bath, nice furnishings, and good kitchen. 3rd floor was quiet. 1 block to Squaw Village(most shops closed for spring). Short drive into Tahoe City. A couple of negatives... More

We rented 2 units and we couldn't have been happier. It's centrally located within the Olympic Village and just a short drive away from Tahoe City and Reno. Both units are clean and cozy. Facilities were excellent. 3 hot tubs available with 3 gas BBQ grills for your use. Did not realize the grills were there for usage by guest. Made a quick trip to Safeway and pick up some food to grill. Bicycles are also available free of charge

Hello Folks from Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley. Were planning to stay in your property for the week Mar 29- Apr 5, 2015. Can you guys give me a heads up on what activities we can do during this time ( Im with my family). What weather do we expect for that week? What types of clothes do we need to prepare to feel comfortable as we go around the localities and cities that surround Lake Tahoe? Ill itemize my other queries here:

1. Were coming from Fairfield, CA and were renting a minivan, Do we need snow tires during this time of the year? We will be renting the van for 2 or more weeks, as we are venturing on a long road trip (with 2 or 3 1-2 day stopovers) from Olympic valley to San Diego.

2. This will be our first time to live in a ski resort. We dont ski and we dont have any bit of experience. What sort of activity can we do if it is totally unfamiliar to us?

3. What sort of seasonal activities/festivals/ events are expected in the surrounding areas of Olympic Valley, incl Incline Village, Tahoe City, Tahoe Vista, Stateline Nevada, Zephyr cove and south lake tahoe? Is it also worth to visit Reno?

4. Are there nearby convenient stores, supermarkets or even marketplace in Olympic valley? You may call us Mall rats, but my children's pastime is visiting and hanging out in malls. is there any nearby?

5. Are your outdoor pools heated? If not, do you have indoor pools that are heated? We dont have much body insulation (all of us are slender) and my kids are scared stiff of the idea of swimming in early spring cold weather.

Well, thats about all the things I need to ask. When something comes to mind, Ill come back. Thanks Guys in advance for your response, In the meantime, pls allow me to greet our future hosts a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous and Fulfilling New Year!
