I love Plumpjack. It is located very close to the ski lifts. Not only am I close to the action, but the free parking is also quite valuable right next to the lifts as well. The cafe and room service make Plumpjack a particularly well appointed 'home base' for ski days.

Love the location (almost ski-in ski-out, but not quite...), the exceptional breakfast, the cozy cafe / bar area, the excellent wine list and the lovely backyard with hot tub in the trees. The hotel needs to improve storage of ski equipment: Guests should not have to take ski boots and polls to their rooms. Sleep quality is variable depending on...

We loved the location, close to lots of restaurants and shopping however it would be nice if there was a movie theater or bowling alley in that shopping center or something else to do when snowed in like we were :-) we played cards because the ski runs were closed as was the gondola up to the high area for...

The staff and location make this place great. The style and ambience add to its positive attributes. The food is good, albeit mildly overpriced in the dining room. The whole place is rather overpriced but it is bboutiquey and charming. Avoid odd number rooms from 101-115, you won't have a view of anything. They take good care of their guests,...

The Plumpjack is a gorgeous property situated in the Olympic Village of Squaw Valley. It is beautifully maintained and in the middle of everything. The cafe staff are definitely not as cordial or helpful as the front desk staff, but other than that it was a perfect way to spend my 47th birthday. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable.

If you are willing to splurge, this is the place. In lieu of the other accommodation at the valley, this place is conveniently located near the tickets and one of the lifts. The rooms, great. The lobby bar/restaurant, great. The gym, great. A nice place if you have a romantic getaway - also pet friendly.

From the time we checked in to the time we left, everything had been well thought out by the staff and was seamlessly perfect. Loved the breakfast in the morning, that homemade granola is to die for. Rooms are well equipped with very nice bath products and there are even flip flops to wear. I was here for an event...

Very impressive, cheerful, responsive service in all areas, including breakfast, dinner, house cleaning, check-in and departure. Room was comfortable but a bit out-of -date. No drawers, just wicker baskets for clothing. No outlet for coffee machine at the main console, so had to move it to bathroom. Mattress had a slope to it.
