This is just an ok hotel. You really are paying for just being over the shops and restaurants. I would expect modern additions and nicer furniture for $300+ per night. Missing things such as usb plug ins, a desk, luggage rack, shower caps etc. for the pool, you have to pay over $20 to get on the tram up to... More

Evidently we had no idea this place is more like an extended stay hotel/time share place than an actual hotel. No room service, housekeepers are done by 11pm. For someone who is used to staying at 4 or 5 star places like the Four Seasons or even the Westin, this place is a huge disappointment but it's not the fault... More

This is a perfectly comfortable complex, nicely remodeled and updated in one of the prettiest parts of the Tahoe area. The one bedroom unit we occupied had an efficiency kitchen. Service was good. Ask for a unit with a view of the mountains if you can. I suspect it is perfect for the winter ski crowd. But for summer visitors... More

We love EVERYTHING about this place! The front desk staff are very nice and accommodating. We were in a room that was very hot (no A/C), so they quickly moved us to another unit (walked us there with a new key, so no need to go back to the front desk). Seems like every room on property has a great... More

The staff were friendly and location was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable, even the hide-a-bed. Unfortunately, someone had recently smoked in the unit but that is not the fault of the hotel. Shops downstairs were very nice as was the summer mini golf course.

We rented the place for a few days and it was a perfect location. The rooms were nice and clean. No complaints about the property or the management, the only complaint was the neighbors. They are likely someone that either stays there long term or possibly a condo owner? He yelled at us for setting an item outside the door... More

We stayed for one night in May, resort was a bit empty, but we did not mind. Rooms are very clean with all the amenities you would need from a kitchen with a dishwasher to extra pillows and blankets. The balcony and view of the snow and mountains was perfect! This hotel is literately at the base of the mountain,... More

Attended a wedding. First time at Squaw Valley and the Lodge and Village. Definitely a place we will return. We're frequent visitors to Whistler being from Seattle and Squaw reminded us a lot of a "mini" Whistler. Anxious to ski Squaw as the terrain looks great and it was cool having a little history of the '60 Olympics.

We loved our stay here for one night. We attended a wedding in Squaw and selected this hotel as the Plumpjack was booked up for the party. The location was excellent. Rooms were enormous with a mini kitchen, balcony, living room and an entirely separate bedroom from the rest of our mini suite. It almost felt like a cabin. Nothing... More

Minutes away from Lake Tahoe where there are lots of shops/food places. One bedroom with patio overlooking the mountain, it was awesome. Bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom, perfect for 2 people. Shops and restaurants behind the hotel, everything right at your fingertips. Bonus - since ski season is almost over, it was peaceful during our stay. A couple of... More
