Reservations customer service is nonexistent -- call OVI and they send you to a 1.800 number that does not work for reservations made on the OVI website. Be careful about making a reservation here!! Location is fantastic. Rooms are dated.

A wonderful resort in heart of Squaw Valley. Staff friendly, room perfect for cooking - large TV's - easy 5 minute walk to village where there are lots of shops . Bars and restaurants. Ski lift across parking lot - and locals are all so nice. Highly recommend.

We had a very poor room. It was moldy, wet in places and smelled and the heat didn't work. When we asked for another room we were given the option of another room with the same problem. Apparently, these were the only options for "guests on our program". I couldn't breather all week and my wife came home with an...

All staff in front desk and house-keeping staff , including the shuttle driver, are courteous, helpful and friendly. Free shuttle going back and forth between the village and the inn is a great plus. Parking and wifi are free. The kitchenette is well-equipped with utensils. All you need to cook your meals are there. However, the units are small and...

Currently enjoying a stay here, enabled by a rare last minute trade opportunity through RCI. This place is clearly a piece of history, and reminiscent of a simpler time ... quite refreshing. While it may not have the glamour many have become accustomed to, staff is friendly, location is perfect and the room is small but well appointed. I would...

While some may say it is dated, this place is great. You get a kitchenette to prep meals for when you don't want to eat out. They have a convenient shuttle to take you back and forth. The price is right too

Rooms are very outdated, but a good size, quiet and accommodating; 2 LED TVs, great balcony with beautiful mountain and courtyard view. Wish fridge was bigger. Lots of various scheduled activities. The property has lots to do for families. Nice game room, pool, grilling area, and gas fire pit.

I have owned at Olympic Village Inn since 1992. I spent time in Europe skiing and was immediately attracted to Olympic Village Inn by its architecture. I use the word "cozy" as most suites are kitzbuel units and are smaller than many one bedrooms elsewhere. This is because the buildings were the dorms for the 1960 Winter Olympics, the bathroom...

Dear Elizabeth Thank you for five star review. We do have the best and most convenient location in the valley. During the winter season we run our own ski shuttle to the village and back. We hope to see you again at Olympic Village Inn. Safe Travels, Mark Dean General Manager

I stayed at the Olympic Valley Inn (OVI) in Squaw Valley Lake Tahoe during the first week of November on a timeshare exchange through Interval International. My one bedroom second floor unit had a very nice mountain view across courtyard that featured a large fountain. I chose OVI because the architecture looked charming on their website - like a Swiss...

I booked a week thru my timeshare exchange as a staycation! It is a rustic tahoe chalet. Our room was renovated and had a beautiful view. The hot tubs worked and perfect for a cold windy night.
