This was or 4-5 stay. we always get room 2 (it's one of the least expensive) but if it were the most expensive we would still get it. We like the walk up to the back gardens. It's a bit quirky room but it more than suits us. We actual are planning our 50th anniversary there in 2 years. The... More

First, we absolutely love the area--- our favorite place for hiking, wildlife watching and scenery--- and have recommended many friends visit Point Reyes and, specifically, Seashore Lodge. It has been our favorite trip for several anniversaries. No longer. We stayed five nights, our 4th visit over the years, the 1st since it changed ownership a year or so ago. Because... More

Go here for a total escape. Room was generous, quiet, clean. Hotel grounds are magical. Breakfast is European style - simple, substantial, and nicely presented. Nice common areas also, if you'd like to sit and read someplace other than your room or outside. But sitting outside with your companion a bottle of wine is really wonderful. No worries about trying... More

The lodge itself is beautiful, the gardens are lovely and the breakfast is superb. The room itself was a little shabby and we had to ask for towels as there were none when we arrived. The receptionists were very knowledgeable about the trails and local attractions and extremely friendly.

Generally the Lodge, it's amenities and grounds are excellent. However we think it is overpriced for what you get. We had the most expensive suite, the only one left, and it fell short. The other rooms could well be better in our opinion. The. Issues that could present themselves are : the bedroom is at a balcony level and stairs... More

We stayed at the Lodge during August, in one of their larger cottages, Casa Olema. It slept 6 of us on couches and an extra queen size, so pretty good value for the # of people. It wasn't the renovated cottage but very comfortable inside, clean and it has its own private hot tub in back. There's a beautiful walking... More

A wonderful place to stay, we are definitely coming back here to explore more of Point Reyes Seashore station. The staff are really nice. We checked in quite late (after 9 pm) and the lady in the front desk was so nice to check our reservation with booking.com and the restaurant adjacent to the lodge still accommodated us even though... We just stayed one night in the Garcia suite - it was OK. Not worth the extra money vs a regular room. If you didn't have a window open it was hot as no AC. WIth the windows open there is a lot of road noise until around midnight, and then it picks up again at 6 am. Beautiful gardens... More

Booked 1 night and ended up staying two -- the gardens are beautiful, a haven of tranquility. No, there is no television! .. and no air conditioning either. Bathroom will soon be updated, water pressure is too strong. The bed was comfortable. Not a luxury hotel as such, but it is in a lovely area. The service is outstanding, and... More

This is a nice place to stay if you're driving along the coastal highway. The lodge has a very nice backyard with some trees and a creek flowing trough. The room was also really nice with a view on the backyard and everything was nice in there. The only reason i'm not giving 5/5 is because it's a little expensive... More
