This is an excellent lodge. Rooms are simple but very nicely appointed and very clean. The location is superb for using the National Seashore locations. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Outdoor space is inviting. No television anywhere which is great for quiet and escape, but don't use this lodge if you need TV. Room was a bit...

The exterior of this Lodge is nicely maintained, both the buildings and the grounds. It's in such a perfect location for exploring Point Reyes! However, the rooms are in serious need of updating. No television, older musty carpeting throughout the room (even bath area), funky shower/bathroom setup with Japanese style dividers is less-than-appealing, and room security (old locks, chain) leaves...

We stayed here while on a hiking trek. The grounds were lovely but be aware that the property is along a stream and not the seashore. The rooms were nice but some maintenance needs to be done (the screen in our bedroom was loose and flies and a wasp wandered in). Breakfast was good with a variety of items like...

Overall, we just expected more for a Deluxe King Room. Windows were dirty, water adjustment on shower head was broken and fairly slow WiFi. Breakfast was rather simple and does not offer many places for seating given the amount of people. Does not help any when people are done eating but continue to take up what little places there are...

I had previously seen PRSL on tripadvisor awhile ago and decided to give it a try for our 30th anniversary. We reserved the Creekside Cottage but were concerned because it looked a bit dated from the pictures and wasn't sure if it was near road (noise). We were pleasantly surprised to find the cottage had just been renovated and we...

We were driving south along the coast and were very happy to find a room at this lodge. It was the best place we had seen for almost an hour. They have a nice setting along a stream but they are not on any seashore. The rooms were very nice but they are not air conditioned. There were healthy choices...

We have stayed in the Sir Francis Drake suite 4-5 times over the years. This is a beautiful property, great views, great location. BUT... no more option for breakfast in the room, crowded dining area with everyone clogged up at the food bar in the am & nowhere to sit once you get food. No coffee in the room, no...

This was or 4-5 stay. we always get room 2 (it's one of the least expensive) but if it were the most expensive we would still get it. We like the walk up to the back gardens. It's a bit quirky room but it more than suits us. We actual are planning our 50th anniversary there in 2 years. The...

First, we absolutely love the area--- our favorite place for hiking, wildlife watching and scenery--- and have recommended many friends visit Point Reyes and, specifically, Seashore Lodge. It has been our favorite trip for several anniversaries. No longer. We stayed five nights, our 4th visit over the years, the 1st since it changed ownership a year or so ago. Because...

Go here for a total escape. Room was generous, quiet, clean. Hotel grounds are magical. Breakfast is European style - simple, substantial, and nicely presented. Nice common areas also, if you'd like to sit and read someplace other than your room or outside. But sitting outside with your companion a bottle of wine is really wonderful. No worries about trying...
