Stayed in one of the "bed and breakfast" rooms. The place was really run down, pretty much falling apart: sink completely clogged up, no screens in most of the windows, right on the noisy road (and with the owners making a racket late at night, too.) Be prepared; we arrived at 5 on a Sunday, and found that the nearest... More

Friendly staff, stayed in one of the new rv sites (should be nice after all the work is done ), good price. Unfortunately would not recommend to others due to the fact that I was kept awake until after 10 pm by the irritating sound of 4 wheelers and a side by side running through the campground over an over... We come here every year since as long as I can remember, more than 15 years, my husband has been coming here since he was a child he is now 36. First off new owners.. A few things that are bothersome that comes along with new owners. The new owner is trying to make this place into a total money... More

Due to a previous poor review of the motel rooms, we had planed only 1 night at this place during our California round trip. That was the only thing we regretted during our stay. For a really good price you get a clean, rustic but functional room upstairs in a wooden building which has 2 rooms in total. It's not... More

We had 2 quiet nights in cabin #4 inspite of being just a few feet from highway 89. This is a great location for trips into Lassen Volcanic National Park and if you dont plan to spend alot of time in the cabin. It is small but cozy. There is a small store onsite for necessities. The cabin is supplied... More

We are bicycle touring the Northwest staying in motels. We had one of the rooms above the barn in the rear of the property. Nothing attractive about the property or room. This is just a place to stay for the night, or better yet, if you're in a car, move on down the road. The positives: you're not sleeping on... More

Stayed here hiking solo. Loved the relaxing vibe and simple lodgings. It's not fancy, but it's very clean and charming. I would definitely bring the family back here or come solo. Great location for wilderness areas and Lassen, or as a pass-through toward Reno.

This is a nicely maintained property on the north side of Lassen National Park. The cabins are basic, with comfortable beds, and plentiful hot water. The staff was helpful, and it is nice to have the store for supplies. It was a relaxing and comfortable place to stay.

My husband and I love finding cozy non-chain hotels to stay at. This is by far our favorite! The owners were amazing - they were in the office late and let us check in and pay after office hours were closed - and the rooms were very clean. We stayed in one of the rooms of the hotel. It was... More

We have been coming to Hat Creek area for over 35yrs. We use to camp out in the woods when the kids were little. As time moved on we then decided to stay Rim Rock. Ben & Gloria were the owners then, and they were great. Now Barbara and Kathy, Chuck and Jim are running the resort and they are... More
