Ok Place to sleep one night Before entering Death valley. An ok breakfast restaurant is located 2 miles away. No facilities but a room. Ok for two adults and two kids. The location is just at the highway so don´t expect silence and tranquility. Nice views at the mouintains.

My daughter and I were traveling 395 south which we do every year on our girls trip. We have driven by this motel many times over the years and are familiar with the area. In the spring of this year we had stayed to the Motel 6 in Bishop(which was nice). We decided to venture out and after reading many...

Stayed here for one night on our way to Death Valley, a perfect starting point for that. We had read the very mixed reviews and decided to give it a go and we were glad we did. If you like the look of their sign on the roadside (website) then I think you will like it but if you prefer...

We arrived late but the owner was up to give us the key. He explained that restaurants etc were closed at 20 hours, but you cannot expect otherwise, instead he directed us to the gas station. No worries. The room was pretty basic, showing signs of wear and tear, some investment needed, but it was not like a shambles. Its...

One has to admire a business that really understands its customers and the Rustic Oasis Motel in Olancha is a fine example. Isolated in desert country between the Grand Canyon and Sequoia National Forest, business traffic thunders through the town on the 395 and only hapless tourists look for a bed, a bite to eat and fuel. Superficially, the Rustic...

What a mess and with only a little bit of effort this place could be improved. The rooms are not clean, in our room was a big, old spider web which would have easily been removed. The walls in the bathroom area would have benefited with a wipe down with a damp cloth which would have taken a couple of...

We ended up staying here for one night. The guy at the front desk was very helpful both in person and over the phone. The room had the bare essentials - a bed and hot water in the shower. Other than that there wasn't much else to it. Great if you're needing only a 12 hour stay somewhere. It was...

What an interesting place to stay. When you pull up, the sign depicts its name: rustic. The motel is literally not near anywhere but it was a good location after being at Death Valley. The room was old but clean. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the shower was lovely and hot. We ate dinner at cafe ranch 2 miles...

Stated there for one night after visiting Death Valley. The motel and location looks really rustic as the name says, but that's really great :) The owner was so friendly and helpful. We had a clean bathroom, comfy bedroom and a little kitchen. They offer free hot drinks at the office. Wifi worked good. The only thing is that there...
