Spectacular campus set on 220 gently rolling acres, with mountains in the distance. Consistent Spanish Hacienda architectural design. Great for golfers and families with young children. Unfortunately, sound insulation between rooms (I changed night one) is bad (you can make out the dialogue on the TV in the next room, hear coughing, etc).

Wanted to come here for years and finally made it, exceeded my expectations, absolutely the best in every way! Beautiful, warmest hospitality, clean, spacious rooms with attention to detail (they even wrap your phone charger chords), amazing food, service, can’t wait to be back!

I loved everything about the Ojai Valley Inn: the room, the food, the service, the spa, the amenities, the property. I can’t wait to go back. I haven’t had a vacation I was this sad about ending in a very long time. And everything about the surroundings is absolutely lovely.

Fantastic venue, location and facilities. Service and room noise could have been better. Very relaxing atmosphere but being woken at 2:10am with someone stacking chairs for ten mins, again at 5:30am with someone cleaning, and again at 6:30am with someone cutting the grass edges was poor. You pay to have a decent sleep and this was not the case, even if it was preparing for something the next day. Preparation of something unrelated to the guest should not impact the quality and service of what one pays for. Some of the staff communication and efficiency could have been better too. Had to call again for something which did not arrive to the room, and wait at 8am for the checkout cart to arrive. Definitely room for improvement on this front.

Beautiful setting, excellent staff, fabulous catering, quality in every corner. My daughter’s wedding was exceptionally catered and staffed. Our rooms were luxurious and the spa treatments and pools made the whole trip even more special and memorable.

The property is amazing. Just make sure you confirm your reservations at the spa and golf, and do not get caught up in the bottleneck that occurs at checkout... Leave earlier or leave later. We requested a bellman to come pick up our luggage and an hour later had no one come to the room... Called again... no apology, but clearly they had dropped our request.

Ojai Valley Inn has to be the best best resort I've been in all my years of traveling. It has everything that a family of 4 with 2 young kids could ask for - amazing view, service, food, pixie pool, etc., We had a couple issues with the bell service. On the first day, they delivered our luggage to the wrong room. We waited over 40 minutes to retrieve all our stuff and lost valuable time that could've been spent in the pool. On the second day, the hotel couldn't locate my husband's golf shoes. They said it "fell" off the cart? He had to play in his new sneakers, which ended up getting ruined with all the mud. We were here for his 40th birthday weekend, and I was disappointed that his golf experience wasn't the greatest... I also found the bell service too be super slow overall. We waited 15 minutes for them to bring our vehicle to the front and there were not busy. I opted to self-park instead afterwards. But overall experience at the resort made it up for all the mishap. Marisa, our pre-arrival planner, helped me plan out the whole stay starting from choosing the right Camp options to dinner reservations. She was absolutely amazing. The kids loved Camp Oak. It was nice to get away from the kids and spend some quality mom and dad time.

I highly recommend the Ojai Valley Inn for a relaxing weekend. My daughter and I enjoyed the resort as well as exploring the town of Ojai. The spa is the best. We also enjoyed the biking and hiking trails. Ojai is a magical place. We picked the right time of year to go, as the orange trees were so full of the Ojai pixies which they put in our room each day. We even went to the local farm and bought some to bring home with us.
