Girls getaway - this charming bed and breakfast was perfect for us! Beth was so welcoming and gave us great tips of what to do in Ojai! The house is cozy and we loved having our evening wine/appetizers in the garden ! Also, the breakfast was unbelievable! We would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful place to be! Always has a great feel, love to come and hate to leave. Super service, great staff wonderful town. Breakfast is served with a smile even when accommodating my gluten, dairy free daughter. They made sure that her breakfast and happy hours always had items specially made for her.

It is difficult to imagine finding peace and tranquility while still being in the heart of town but that is what you get at the Lavender Inn. Their garden, with wonderful water features, is lovely for both breakfast and cocktail "tapas" hour. In fact this is one of the best B&B breakfasts we have had. Vanessa et al are most...

My husband and I were so blessed to be selected for a stay at the Lavender Inn over Veterans Day weekend. My husband is a disabled veteran and was in real need of a getaway that was still close to home. This inn felt felt like a home away from home. I was so happy to see him so content...

My wife and I have been staying at the Lavender Inn for over 5 years and never been disappointed. Cathy and Mark the owners have done a first class job of restoring a historical building and adding a large measure of charm. It being a Bed and Breakfast the breakfast is outstanding as is the evening wine and snacks. Susie...

Loved all parts of the Lavender Inn! Our room (#7, Romantic Suite) was welcoming, bright, and spacious. We loved the little porch off of our bathroom, and the bed was so comfy! We enjoyed the wine & tapas happy hour when we checked-in, and the breakfast & coffee in the morning were hard to beat! We enjoyed both on the...

Just stayed at the Lavender Inn for my second time; I was one of 12 there for a ladies retreat. The location is perfect, the staff is very attentive when you need them and invisible when you don't. Clean and fresh...airy and tranquil. I have the Craftsman room. The Cottage is lovely as well. This really is a very delightful...

Nice grounds, wonderful rooms, an exquisite breakfast spread await you! This is the sort of place to pamper oneself for a longer stay than the more two nights we spent. Breakfast was very creative--lots of variety--including organic and locally sourced ingredients.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Blending comfort with elegance, the Lavender Inn is conveniently located across from shops, galleries, and restaurants. Originally built in 1874, this Bed & Breakfast offers a ROMANTIC GETAWAGIRLS NIGHT OUT AT THE INN, intimate business workshops, family reunions, or a QUIET RETREAT. The gardens are absolutely stunning with mature oaks, 7 fountains, a petite waterfall into a petite pond, and colorful flowers for our GARDEN WEDDINGS. The interior is tastefully decorated with an array of art and antiques but with a subtle modern twist. Full, GOURMET BREAKFASTS and housemade TAPAS & WINE are served daily on the veranda. Put on one of our lush robes and wander out the front steps for a facial or massage in our LAVENDER INN SPA. Look for our COOKING CLASSES in our kitchen, Ojai Culinary School, with visiting chefs. We are proud to have created a 3 day CANCER WELLNESS RETREAT, InnCourage, free to underserved women undergoing treatment for cancer - a full time on-site counselor, massages, facials, healthy cooking class, American Cancer Society Look Good Feel Better make-up & wigs, and support from fellow cancer patients.
