For cyclists doing the Southern Tier this Motel is a good stay before you head into the desert. Yes the Motel is old and worn and you pay $50 for not much. What you do get is a fridge, micro-wave, FL/TV with direct TV, good in room coffee, double bed, line,very good towels and a decent shower. Although just of...

There are only a few good reasons for needing to be spending the night in a town such as Ocotillo. If you do, this is about the only place. The rooms are tired and in need of a remodel. But.... The owner is friendly. The rooms are clean. The showers are good. It seems safe and secure. It's about all...

You need a real good reason to spend the night in Ocotillo. I was here to hike to the Goat Canyon Trestle and this motel was closest. They have only 2 rooms in this motel. It is mostly an old trailer park. There is also a trailer for rent by the night which provides a bedroom, living room, and kitchen....

Although the Ocotilla Motel is adjacent to the southern end of Anza Borrego Desert State Part, the motel is barely habitable. The internet site list $40 for a single bed, but the manager said that is old and the price is now $50. This is at least $20 dollars too much. The room was very small with a barely functioning...
