Over all great stay! The location is perfect with lots of things near by. Loved the room and decor, everything was extremely clean. Lastly the customer service was amazing. I had to switch the dates on my trip last minute and management was very patient and accommodating. This will definitely be my go to spot anytime I am in Oceanside.

We usually stay in Carlsbad, but the prices for hotel rooms were crazy! I found this place on Booking.com for half the price our usual hotel was going to charge. The premises is immaculate and our room was very clean and comfortable. Our room was tiny but they used every inch very well and packed a lot of stuff in that room. I kept walking around saying how cute everything was! The vintage microwave and fridge, the tiny stove, the mid century decor, the album cover art and the wood beams on the ceiling. The bathroom was tiny but every inch was thought out so we still had plenty of room. They have contactless check in and gave us a code for the door, I loved not having to remember my key every time we left the room. We had a King sized bed and a twin loft type bed with storage underneath that had all the extra linens and stuff in there. The tv has all streaming channels instead of cable and local channels, so it was nice to pick what we wanted to watch. The kitchen was equipped with dishes and cooking things. I fell in love with the electric tea kettle and am ordering one when we get home! Even though we didn’t see any staff, when I contacted them, they were prompt in responding and helpful. This place was a lot closer to Carlsbad than to Oceanside pier, a quick 5 minute drive to the beach in Carlsbad!…

My stay at the green room hotel has been nothing short of amazing! The check in process was seriously so painless, the room was super cute and each one is uniquely decorated, and the location is walkable to so many great coffee shops, restaurants and more. That on top of the fact that you can text the owner with any questions or even recommendations made this such a great stay!

The room was super clean, and mindfully organized. The bed was very cozy, and the fire pit and jacuzzi were delightful. Also, it’s pet friendly! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend the Green Room!

Had the pleasure of staying here for my Wedding on New Years weekend. The hotel is very clean and trendy, and only five minutes from the Oceanside pier. It's even closer to Carlsbad. The check-in process was a breeze and they have all the amenities you need, a great hot tub, and surf boards and bikes included with your stay. When we checked in our hot water wasn't working, and within 3 minutes of us calling the office someone was out to re-light our pilot light. The only thing I will warn you about, and maybe was just my room, but the bed frames stick out from the mattress about 6 inches and are the same color as the rug beneath them, so I repeatedly slammed my shins into the corners of them trying to walk around the sides of the bed and left with some pretty bad bruises, so just keep an eye out for that. I should also mention that the owners even left us a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate with for New Years Eve! Overall our stay was great and perfect for our wedding, and was very reasonable in price for the length of our stay. Definitely recommend staying here!…

We live in Orange County and love our weekend getaways. San Diego is a favorite for us- especially all the lovely coastal towns. But it’s been difficult to find cute, boutique hotels in the area. So I was so excited when I came across The Green Room Hotel! The decor is so my style- there are these small, special touches like Public Goods in the bathroom, or a Marshall speaker system. So cozy and cute. The private patio out front is the cherry on top! Although it is right next to a busy road, it’s far enough back that it’s quiet. And the rooms are well insulated so we couldn’t hear our neighbors on either side. I love the shared communal space- the picnic tables, fire pits and hot tub. This would be a great place to come with a few friends to hang out. It’s walkable to plenty of food options- it’s in a fantastic location for that. Walkable to the beach. Customer service is great and very responsive if there’s anything you need or if you have questions. Can’t wait to come back and try a different room!…

Nice room, quiet environment and responsive staff. The setting of the hotel/rooms is really nice with a lovely outdoor space that makes you feel welcome. Highly recommended for either short or long stay. We spent 3 nights there and we recommended it !

Wow what a place! Such a beautiful experience from start to finish, didn’t want to leave! From easy check-in, messages to ask if I needed anything, this was a great stay. I stayed for a solo trip, and extended my stay as long as I could. Beautiful room, cozy but definitely enough room for single or couple. The interior is well thought out, with very groovy interior design. Couldn’t believe the affordable price. Awesome facilities. Made great use of the cedar hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor seating. Didn’t get a chance to use the quiver of surfboards which are conveniently provided too. Great spot. Easy walk to the beach (I went for every sunset), cafes and shops. Can’t wait to return, thanks Steve!

This place is super cute! It was seamless to check in and out and they had coffee and donuts from a local spot for guests in the morning - what a treat! The rooms had the essentials and everything was organized efficiently and intuitively. The location can’t be beat, close to a fantastic grocery store and great places to eat! Overall, this place was perfect for our family of 4 + our family dog!

What a great little place to check in/out on your own, have a exceedingly comfortable bed, walk to the beach and good eats, and take a hot tub. I expect to return for good value again. Hotel minbar had good eats. TV was a bit small and it would be good if local over the air channels were immediately accessible, like old times. Old California at its best overall — wish I’d pulled up in a 1954 Woody!
