If you are looking for a place to camp in your RV on the coast, this is it. We had no problems with our neighbors. Nights were wonderfully quiet. Site was very close to the dunes and ocean. The employees were very friendly.
We had an issue at the park with our RV and the site they placed us in and the amount of space needed to make a tight turn. Damage occurred to my RV and instead of trying to work out a solution where we would want to return, George Pratts the property manager was both rude and confrontational to me, my wife and children. I’m filing an insurance claim so it was not about the money and if he had offered a credit towards our trip or a future trip I would not have to be giving negative reviews.
We didn't stay with the intention to go to the Dunes but they are literally next door. Quiet time is at 10pm which it's inconvenient if your a night own and like to have late BBQ's. Everyone is very respectful of their RV/Trailer space. Family and pet friendly.
This RV campground is one of the easiest places to book. I love being able to call and talk with a person regarding my reservation. It’s always free of litter and well maintained. We also like the fact we can let the grandkids roam the campground without fear of fast drivers or not nice people. Tons of families and kids for everyone to play with. This is our second time at pacific dunes and we will be back next June!
Everything was great! Staff was excellent and everything was clean. I would definitely stay here again. Brought back a lot of memories of when I was little room which was neat. Even the bathrooms were nice
Pacific Dunes Ranch is a the best. So quiet and away from the hustle down by the dunes. Super accommodating and friendly staff. Quiet, clean and relaxing staying here. It was our 3rd time here. We love it.
The sites are roomy and convenient for laundry, showers, trash disposal, and the great dunes to walk to the ocean on! Friendly staff, well-kept grounds. I would recommend these grounds to anyone. They offer Wi-Fi, but I really didn't use it, I was there to just enjoy the beach, and spend time with friends.
We chose this park because it was off the beaten path and adjacent to the sand dunes. We arrived just after office hours and picked up our registration materials that were taped to the office window. When we got to our assigned site it was already occupied! Called the after-hours number and got a VM that told us the mailbox was full and not accepting any messages. Went to a nearby site of someone who was a long-termer and they called the after-hours maintenance man. He directed us to a nearby pull-through site for the night. The next morning we could not do any of our normal routine because of the lack of water. When we travel to a park with full hook-ups we never carry any water. There was a water main break that left the upper sites without water (bathrooms included) but we never had any notification of the problem or an estimated time of repair. Only stayed one night but probably will not return.…
The resort gave us a site out on the edge of the dunes. My wife and I loved and enjoyed the solitude that the dunes provided. We hiked across them everyday and our worries drifted away with the clouds and passing fog.
It was great clean and very friendly people and quite at night really felt safe and very comfortable excellent cleaning working laundry mat and is dog friendly The little store has everything you might need also has pool table arcade games a room for games party and also has horseback riding Thank you
