I came here last night and was surprised that the price was higher than what I paid in Hotels.com. The person from the hotel told me that it was some taxes and was it. The next day, I checked my reservation and it was not like this. So despite the place being kind of dirty in a not nice neighborhood, they set up a scam place, where they cancel your reservations and then charge you more to stay.

It was a small, simple room and hotel but what really made it nice was the owners. At first it was hard to understand their accent but they repeated themselves as many times as we needed without showing any irritation. They were very helpful and understanding when we had to leave early because of the city shutting down attractions due to the corona virus. We really wish we didn’t have to leave as they made the trip 10 times nicer then it already was.

I had such a bad experience here!! The Indian guy had a power trip over how long it was taking for us to move our car and ended up kicking us out and charging us for the night! We checked in and got kicked out all within 10minutes. I showed up @1230AM straight from the airport. The Indian guy called me right as I got off the plane making sure I was still coming. We showed up and There was no parking in the lot so my friend parked in a spot, not blocking a through way so I could check in and not have to carry my bags so far. I checked in, went upstairs, and we get a phone call to move our car again. This was all within ten minutes of our arrival. I said we’re leaving and just dropping off our stuff. We get down to the car and the Indian guy is getting all nuts with us. And says if we even park our car in this lot he’s gonna have it towed while we were there. I had to clarify because I wasn’t believing what my ears were hearing. Then he said just leave instead. Didn’t refund me everything. Overall the guy was really rude and had a powertrip. Really unwelcoming. We had nowhere else to go in the middle of the night and had to sleep in the car till we could check into the next hotel.

This is a large park with water bodies and sports facilities. It is a beautiful experience to walk through the area. It is next to the botanical garden. This is also a popular venue to have musical functions with large gatherings.

This hotel has everything one needs for an overnight stay. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. This was a good choice for an early morning appointment at Kaiser Oakland. But don't expect plush, the room was basic, and the immediate neighborhood is not the best. During the day a walk up MacArthur takes you to nice restaurants on Piedmont and Broadway.
