This is a great hotel to stay in near Yosemite. I have stay here before and find it to be an excellent hotel to stay at. It is near Yosemite and also Oakhurst is an enjoyable town to visit as well. We enjoy looking around the shops.

Our first time at the hotel. Highly recommend it. The price is the best for visiting Yosemite. It is clean, safe and has character. It is retro chic and fun. Terrific for families with a park, nice lounge, great breakfast (25% off for hotel guests) and indoor pool. dry family friendly. Local CVS had cheap and best Yosemite items. We...

It has its own restaurant that serves great food, quite expensive. Good internet speed, not great Close to Southgate entrance but still an hour drive to Yosemite valley. Close to all other facilities, such as, Denny, Carl Jr, and gas station.

This specific Best Western property was a huge surprise for the reasonable price ($76 per night) I had to pay when compared to similar properties in Yosemite National park. There are too many overpriced hotels in this area. This hotel is conveniently located in Oakhurst 30 mns away fro the south gate near the Mariposa Grove. The hotel staff were...

It' a very good and cozy place with nice staff and grounds with swimming pool. The wifi it's a bit unreliable and the aircon it's noisy, but if you don't want to stay in the Yosemite or there is no available place there it's a very good solution. Small city, close to the park. Big clean rooms with fridge, micro...

Food choices within Yosemite is poor which is why we chose to stay in Oakhurst. This town has everything you need - Vons groceries, Carls Jr, MCD, pizzas, Starbucks, etc. It is only 1 hr 20 min drive from Yosemite Valley floor (when roads are not snowed out). I would stay here again for my next trip. Just go for...

I stay at the Gateway Inn whenever I go to Yosemite unless I stay in the valley itself. This hotel is by far the best in Oakhurst. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well decorated. The lobby is a treat. I highly recommend the indoor pool and jacuzzi after a day of snowshoeing, skiing, or hiking. Excellent value and courteous...

basic, clean rooms near the south entrance. Resort like feel with multiple buildings situated on a hill, nicely landscaped. Good value. I prefer this entrance and options for hotels over the east entrance.

We always stay with this Best Western Hotel when we are in Oakhurst, CA. We have been doing so for the past ten years. We have family who live in Oakhurst, and the Yosemite Gateway Inn is in an excellent location.
