We had a great week staying at this beautiful property. Our room was large, immaculate and very comfortable and the common areas of this log house included a beautiful living room, well-equipped and stocked kitchen and a great porch overlooking wooded hills. The owner Eddie was the kindest and most helpful host imaginable! He has detailed hiking maps, videos, and brochures... More

Evergreen Haus combines Brazilian sympathy with German efficiency near Yosemite. Want more? After a DIY breakfast, meet Eddie - a very friendly host that offers clean and comfortable rooms for relaxing days. I strongly recommend staying in these cozy cabins, it was the highlight (and best sleep) of the trip. Hope to see you all soon!

I found this place via TripAdvisor and booked it for my wife and my 1st anniversary. Don't regret it as it is just gorgeous, very friendly and helpful owner. Only knock is the road us a little rough once you pass the other B&B below it, but don't let that keep you from enjoying this place!

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our two day stay, based for Yosemite, at Evergreenhause. Eddie was the welcome wagon, and he made us feel right at home from the start. Eddie talks a lot(sorry Eddie ;)) But he just gives you everything that he thinks might be in your favor- Thank you Eddie, appreciate it! Eddie accommodated us with the... More

The Evergreen Haus is a perfect place to stay while exploring the Yosemite National Park. The recommendations and hospitality from Eddie were perfect. Because this was our first time to the park as a family, his recommendations on several of the "off the beaten path" hikes and places to see really helped us plan our day. We are already planning... We stayed there Friday and Saturday at the end of our vacation. The owner - Eddie met us and showed us around. Wow. He did a great renovation on a home to create Evergreen Haus. It felt like we had our own private ski lodge. Lots of stuff included like waffles (frozen eggo) pop tarts and juice in a great... More

Stayed while we visited Yosemite and the Sierra National Forest. Well furnished, large, clean rooms, inviting common areas and excellent advice from the proprietor, Eddie. It's not a bread and breakfast but basic foods are supplied. After a busy day of travel we would shop the supermarket and then have a relaxing evening with a basic dinner, a bottle of... More

This is the type of place i love, rustic and homey. We had the Sequoia room which is the master bedroom, it's spacious and comfortable, high ceiling, seems like a wooden attic. Eddie the owner has been extremely helpful with providing quick info on the surroundings, best things to do, places to eat, cool hikes nearby etc. It's a little... More

The place is very nice and cozy. Great view from the patio. 10 miles or less from the park's entrance. Management is very friendly and open to provide info and hints on places, trails and lookouts. Humming birds will be your breakfast companion. Recommend.

We stayed in the Pine Room which was recently completed. After a long day of hiking to the top of falls in the park, we looked much forward to returning to the Evergreen Haus for a good shower, a spacious room, and cool environs for a great night's rest.
