We had a very pleasant stay at Evergreen Haus. The room was big and comfortable and the property has a nice atmosphere. The owner gave us some useful tips for hiking, which made our stay even better. This is a great place to stay if you are planning to do day hikes in Yosemite and Sierra Nevada National Forest and...

We were four adults and three children(under 10). We were greeted warmly by the owner Eddie who showed us around the well appointed cabin and to the two rooms we were sharing. The four bedrooms share a large living area with a well equipped kitchen, and spacious sitting room with comfortable sofas . Outside on the terrace their is more...

If you are reading this review, then lucky you. The owners deliberately don't advertise for this place and want to keep it somewhat of a hidden gem. It is wonderful in every way. Evergreen Haus is like a nestled cabin in the woods. You will first notice the spectacular view from the porch, but the inside is just as magnificent....

We LOVED our stay at Evergreen! We were 6 people. The rooms are gorgeous. Truly they were way more luxurious than we needed. The kitchen was loaded with all the stuff the kids wanted (pop tarts, tang, waffles) plus we had plenty of room for our own stuff in the fridge and cabinets. The best part was all the wonderful...

We had never used this type of lodging before, we had always used hotels in the past. My wife was a little nervous but Eddie and the Evergreen Haus provided a great experience for us. We stayed in the Sequoia room which was plenty big enough for my wife, me, and our 7 year old daughter. Eddie gave us great...

Fabulous place to spend our family vacation. We had a great time. Full kitchen accessories. We enjoy the stay. I should have written this last year after the trip. But... Found Eddie's card and still remember the experience. (Eddie, you have a lovely family) -Denis Kam

The owner of Evergreen Haus provided us with practical and relevant suggestions for exploring the south of Yosemite region and Oakhurst, for the time we had in the area. We valued the use of the washing machine and the offer of generous provisions within the communal kitchen. With the Mariposa Grove currently closed, Eddy's advice to visit the Nelder Grove...

Perfect location - close to Bass Lake, maybe 5 minutes and about 10-15 minutes to South entrance into Yosemite (our 2 destinations for this trip). We stayed 3 nights in the Pine Room, which was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had access to extra towels if we needed them and we also had access...

Stayed there on a recent trip to Yosemite. Eddie is the man. We asked for some restaurant suggestions he gave us tow that we went to and the were both good. The property is great and Eddie is a great host. Clean comfortable rooms and beds. Sat out on the deck on night to recharge and have dinner. Eddie stopped...

We a very comfortable stay and productive visit into Yosemite about a month back. Eddy, was extremely detailed in setting up scenarios for us to make the best of the two days we had. His directions and maps for touring the sequoia tree plump (outside of Yosemite ) was extremely useful- it is pretty easy to get lost there since...
