We wanted to go to Yosemite for our anniversary and this was the best value we found, even though it's a bit of a drive into the park. We stayed in the Bird's Nest room and loved it. No problems regarding cleanliness...the only thing that was quirky was how the kitchenette was stocked...it was a hodge-podge of mismatched things and...

We stayed here for one night in August. The owners were very friendly & accomodating. We had reserved the Blue Spruce Room but wound up moving to a room that was a little bit larger. It was a nice place. Clean linens, furniture, etc. There was a little picnic area with a BBQ pit that we took advantage of. It...

We arrived in the middle of the night and our room door was totally open, the floor was sticky and found 3 spiders in the room. The bed sheets had some stains and a lot of dust could be found everywhere. Obviously we could not stay there, and had to look for another hotel in the middle of the night...

My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay. Pine Rose has a rustic, down home feel to it. We were very comfortable in unit # 10 and enjoyed sitting on the porch outside our room. A deer came close to joining us. Anita was very hospitable and served up two delicious breakfasts.

Learning a lesson-this is how i feel now about spending one night out of three with my husband at Pine Rose Inn. Not reading reviews about this B&B turned out for us quite badly. Completely agree with people who wrote about dirtiness and smelliness of the rooms. Both rooms which we were shown to us looked like they were furnished...

We liked the Pine Rose Inn. I can see that booking online might be an issue; we had a chance to choose rooms when we got there (we had no reservations anywhere and found the Pine Rose in our GPS). The gentleman who showed us around was great and we had a chance to look at every room available, probably...

My vacation experience was enhanced by this quaint and charming place. I found no musty smell, no dirt and plenty of atmosphere. The jaccuzzi was in the middle of a large bathroom and was large enough for two people. Furnishings were older but clean and the staff was responsive to my requests. It shows to go that prior bad reviews...

This place is what got me started in reading reviews and I wish I had started before going here! Stayed in the Bass Lake room which was just ok, it smelled musty and old. The shower was dingy and just opened into the room and was very cold, switched to the Sugar Pine room which was once again a letdown....

We had our wedding and honeymoon weekend at the Pine Rose. Anita, the owner, is a great hostess. We really enjoyed ourselves. Our whole experience was wonderful. Jan and Tom Buckingham

The other bad reviews in this site already tell most of the problems. What I can add is the following. We were not accommodated in a room like the ones in the web site but in a very small room that was part of a parking hut. They call it "granny's house". It is really a dirty and uncomfortable hole,...
