Apparently there Is a problem with people who don't live or stay at this park frequenting/vandalizing the property. We are a family of 4, the bathrooms require a key as do the showers - we were given 1 key, not convenient with 2 boys and 2 girls, the laundry closes at 10, again not convenient. I'm all for a lock... More

Camping along the river is nice, for parking lot camping, but that's about it. The restroom facilities are gross, smelly and not well maintained. The entire place is poorly maintained. They have these huge night lights which kept our family up and the folks running it are rather indifferent and gone a lot. If you need an overnight, it's ok,... More

Lots of nice sites right on the river. We got really lucky and got one at the very end, where we had the river wrap around our site, we saw a litle waterfall from our front window of our class A and winding river in many of the other windows. Plenty of room, not crowded next to other campers. Easy... More

The staff was very helpful and gracious in our two stays in this beautifully mown campground. First was tent camping. The second was in one the lovely yurts. Great shower facility and clean bathrooms. The river was melodic for sleeping. Yurt was very spacious with mini fridge, microwave, coffee in the office, books to buy/loan. We had two great visits... Last year I made a prepaid reservation here, then read the bad reviews and panicked. I called to request a refund (even though it said no refunds). They quickly credited my CC for the charges. We stayed at the KOA, and it was nice, but very inconvenient because we wanted to explore the town. This time I decided to try... More

Frankly, I read some of the negative reviews and got quite discouraged and almost cancelled. I'm glad I didn't. Okay, so the park isn't as "glamorous" as depicted on the website, but it's very quaint and the staff is very friendly. The drive to Yosemite Park is < 30 minutes or so, but that's to the park entrance...another 45 to... More

I read a few reviews that called this place the worst ever -- and it is not the worst I have been to -- but it is also not as nice as it would seem from their website. The sites are packed very tightly together and along the river there is very little shade (and it gets hot here in... More

The park is in town on a couple of levels and behind/beneath a mobile home park. The price is around 50 bucks for full hook up along the creek. Although the creek is beautiful, behind it lurks an industrial parking lot. We didn't even try the showers or laundry after working hard to get level and hook up to some... More

Located on the outskirts of the Yosemite NP, High Sierra RV Park is in Oakhurst. Staff were pleasant & welcoming, & quick to give advice on inclement weather too. There are showers & toilets available on-site - they are locked as the campsite is not gated, so a $20 key deposit is required. A small selection of items for purchase... More

As did many others we chose this park as it sounded really Good and with plenty of amenities on the web site. we were squeezed in to a tiny site which couldn't even fit our RV properly,, went to use the bathroom only to get the door shut in my face. there is only 1 toilet and 1 shower for... More
