Lovely setting near the sea. Wonderful place to stay! Going to sleep with the Ocean's roar. Time spent reading on the beach or in the sunny porch. No tvs! time for conversation and board games and relaxation!

We booked months in advance because it is so difficult to find a vacancy and snagged one night. We were so looking forward to a relaxing time by the beach. Check in was smooth. But then right below our window, a wedding reception with band and speakers facing us was setting u

I was lucky to re t cabin 27 during the summer and it was the most amazing and relaxing 4 days vacation. Cabin is cozy and i loved hearing the waves crashing in the sand. Hard to rent this gems but so worth it.

I have stayed at three different cottages over the years. Almost all of them have great ocean views. A very fun place to stay. They have beach BBQ's that you can rent also. Book it at reservecalifornia.com

My 4 close friends and I had a lovely 4 day visit to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We loved every minute! The fall sunsets can’t be beat. There are 4 tall chairs overlooking the beach and Beachcomber restaurant. There are also 4 chairs around a back patio table. We brought a

Question for anyone who has stayed in 39C: how is it configured; could you walk around with a walker while someone else is in the room? 38C is tiny -- you can barely fit two people in the room at the same time.
It is tiny but there is room to walk around the bed with a walker. It has a full size bed with room on one side and in front of bed. It is really just a place to sleep but nice that it has its own bathroom. I don't think you would want to be in the room except to sleep. The patio is awesome but I don't think there was a ramp just a couple stairs.

Fire pits? I see one reviewer wrote that they had a bonfire, but the reserve America site said you can't have one. I'm wondering which is correct so that I can plan. Can you have a fire on the beach right there?
You can only rent through Beachcomber, you can not bring your own. They have different packages. They all come with beach chairs and portable propane fire pit. You can a burgers/hot dogs and smores. You can book through their website.

It says cottage 29A/B is "bluff top". Is there access to the beach down stairs from the front of the cabin, or is the only access via the paved path behind the cabins?
The only access is via the path, down the stairs that put you right by the Beachcomber. Currently no access from the front of the cabins. I don't know if that will change when they complete their next phase.

how much would it cost for one week for 1 adult and 2 kids about july6-july12
please can you tell me if you have a cottage for one week july6-july12 for 1 adult and two kids and how much would it be
I stayed there last month for a couple of nights. You need to get onilne and check out how it works to rent a If you live in Orange County you can stop by the offfice to see if they have any cancellations. Other wise you have to book online 6 months in advance, if you are lucky enough to get a cottage. It's well worth the wait. When we checked out that morning they had three cottages available. : )

"It is hard to reserve first to sign up on line 6 months before the day gets the room."
"Any cottage at Crystal Cove will do, if you love this place as much as we do."
"Make a stop at Trader Joes (including bottled water) and then just forget about leaving for the rest of your stay."
"Now that reservations are made via ReserveCalifornia, you'll need go to CrystalCove dot org to get the details, pricing and descriptions."
"To get a reservation, mid-week in the shoulder season there is somewhat less demand."
