First time we stayed at the campground due to the fact that Scott's Flat Campground was full. The sites are quite large. They even have a handicap site, which we have never seen before. White Cloud campground is great. My friends and I camped (tents) and had an enjoyable stay. White Cloud is close to the town of Washington and the river, and close to many hiking trails which makes it nice. We took a drive to Malakoff Diggins from the campground and it was a great short drive. I will definitely go back... More

Loved the campground itself, spacious sites, exceptionally clean... the only campground I've been to in 3 years of frequent camping where the sites were raked and the roads blown clean.... Lovely area, lots of woods.... Pat and her dog Pumpkin were wonderful, exceedingly friendly and ready to help... never been to a campsite where the host will deliver wood to... More

It was our first visit to White Cloud and we made reservations and found out when we arrived that it never fills up, so their is no need to make reservations. We loved the size of the sites. We love White Cloud campground. Love the spacious area and the friendly people. It is well taken care of with clean bathrooms. We Like that it is rarely full of people, so you can really feel like your camping instead of in a crowded neighborhood. I have very good hearing and hardly ever notice the traffic on hwy 20. we...
