I came here because an Airbnb didn’t work out for me in Bullhead Ciry. Exhausted and a bit upset and hungry this was the only show in town with available room. I thought the noise level would be horrible. I’ve been delighted! Clean, large, comfortable and friendly! Coukd r be happier. Tip go toward Bull city for gas. About 7 miles away it’s only $4.49 . Here it’s somewhere in the $6 range! Happy trails!
My two sisters and chihuahua we beginning a road trip. This is a good, clean, quiet in transit hotel. Staff were very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the hot tub.Thumbs up! It has been newly remodeled and price is right. Recommend for a stop over. The staff seem proud of their work which I value.
Nice motel. Great pool! Much better than I had expected. Room was very clean. Bed was comfy. Front desk staff really helpful. Only gets 4/5 because it didn’t have restaurant. But many restaurants nearby. Nice place. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Needles.
Road tripping from LA to Grand Canyon and stopped here on the way for the night. Rooms are clean and the beds are massive. The bathroom was fine for one night and the staff on front desk were great. Plenty of parking etc. I would be happy to stay again for the night to get my head down for a few hours. There were a few truckers staying and some work men. They were early risers with lots leaving around 5-6am. But that was fine with us. Felt safe and the staff were watching the cctv for the car park etc. There is a gas station right next to the hotel, subway, burger joint and of course the Wagon Wheel cafe. Which was great for breakfast. Overall a very traditional US motel and I would not hesitate to recommend it for someone needing a bed for the night. For those from the UK think travel lodge.…
Stayed here just off the trail after a tough desert backpacking trip. Nice clean place, convenient to I-40. Check-in crew was very friendly and they had a great recommendation for takeout dinner (the nearby Wagon Wheel, yum!). I really like to support independent hotels whenever possible, and this place did not disappoint! Only issue is, it's a 2-story building with hard-surface floors in the rooms, so that can make for some acoustical issues. I requested a 1st floor room because I needed to schlep my camping gear; however, if I stayed here again I would recommend requesting an upper-floor room.
Room smelled like some very strong, unpleasant, cleaning product. The room was very basic, and a little shabby, from the reviews I expected a little more. Staff was very nice. There was ample parking and it was quiet.
The room has 2 desks, 2 chairs, 2 luggage racks. Clean, comfortable beds. Strong shower, good AC and well-lighted. Two walking-close places to eat: Wagon Wheel Restaurant and Carl Jr. Yes, we would stay here again.
We booked this inn on Booking.com but when we arrived the attendant would not give us the room. He claimed Booking.com had not supplied the hotel with the correct payment and said I should cancel Booking.com and book a room through him. I would not do so as I had a confirmation email from Booking.com confirming the room payment. He said he didn’t need our business as the railroad and boating kept the hotel afloat. He was very unpleasant and actually called the police when I requested a refund. In my 60+ years of travel throughout the world and thousands of hotel stays, this experience at the Río Del Sol Inn is definitely at the bottom. I will not be returning and recommend against staying there.
From the outside this hotel looks pretty dumpy, so our room was a pleasant surprise. It was freshly painted with a nice clean tile floor (I love hotel rooms that can’t hide the dirt in patterned carpets). The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Our check-in clerk, Martin, was very friendly, joking and laughing with us during the check-in process, while remaining professional. If any of his bosses are reading this, he deserves a raise! Great guy. Despite the hotel being completely booked for the night, the parking was ample. We ran a load of laundry and were surprised at the machines only costing $1 each. The laundry room was well kept and clean. Overall, this is a much better hotel than it looks like from the outside, and we’d definitely stay again.
A lovely property with spacious rooms, microwave, Mimi fridge and free Wi-Fi. Sleep quality was great on a comfortable bed. The room was clean and well appointed. The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful and suggested a good restaurant that discounted our meals. The pool was clean, well maintained and quite enjoyable The indoor hot tub was closed due to Covid. .
