The main building, a recently remodeled 1901 farmhouse, offers spacious guest rooms in the Signature and Deluxe rooms. A separate Cottage, our Premiere Suite, features Two-Bedroom, Two-Bathroom accommodations with terraces. ADA accessible in Deluxe category. For guests requiring a more private and exclusive accommodation in Napa, our Premiere Two-Bedroom Two-Bathroom standalone Cottage is the best choice for premium suite accommodations. Each of the spacious bedrooms features King beds with ample seating, flat-screen TV’s and mini-bars. Our bathrooms feature deep soaking tubs with separate showers, plush robes and slippers as well as heated floors for a spa-like experience. I was looking for a place to take my wife to celebrate her most recent milestone birthday and came across The Setting Inn on Tripadvisor. I read the reviews and immediately booked our 6 night stay. From the beginning, the staff was extremely helpful and informative. A couple weeks before arriving, I arranged with the Inn's manager, Candice, some birthday decorations and treats. Candice pulled it all together and upon our arrival, both Candice and Brittney (one of the Inn Keepers) greeted us and took us up to our room, where it was decorated with balloons, flowers, an amazing charcuterie boards and cupcakes for my wife's birthday. Our room was awesome!! It was huge, clean and most of all extremely comfortable. Felt like home! Our balcony over looked a small vineyard and every morning outside our window we could see the hot air balloons flying close to the Inn. The morning pastries from Bouchon Bakery, fresh fruit and juice was outside our door in a beautiful wooden box and fresh pressed coffee was available downstairs. The service was extraordinary and everyone was very accommodating. Each day, when we got back from our winery adventures, all the staff, Candice, Brittney and Lexi, would ask us how was our day and spent time listening to all of our crazy stories. LOL!! The Setting Inn Napa Valley is definitely the place we will be staying from now on whenever we visit Napa. Thank you very much for the most "Magical" stay!!!…

The Setting Inn is hands down a 5 star experience. A home away from home. We loved The Setting Inn so much so, we cancelled our reservations with a different boutique hotel and drove back for another night at The Setting Inn. Everything has been thoughtfully planned out in creating this space- from the heated floors, beautiful decor, remote blinds, dimmable lights, electric bikes, kitchen creature comforts to the delivery of Bouchon Bakery, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice right outside your room each morning. We have traveled many places and none compare to our stay at The Setting Inn. The Setting Inn has wonderful staff who are very attentive, caring and genuine. However, I must give an extra big thanks to Ashley at the front desk- she reached out via text to ensure we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable. With each ask, she over delivered with thoughtfulness. We truly felt like we were the only guests during our stay. Napa was all the more special because of the lovely experience we had at The Setting Inn. A part of me didn’t want to write this review because I wanted to keep this amazing place a secret…. I really can’t fault the Setting Inn. The room was comfy, pretty, clean and the bathroom was lovely! The breakfast is amazing. The only issue have is that it’s a little isolated to walk anywhere for supper but if you don’t mind driving then it’s not an issue. Thank you for a wonderfully memorable stay!

The Inn is very nice and newly renovated. The barn and the room accommodations are very nice and it's a great HQ from which to start your Napa adventures. The breakfast delivery is a nice touch. I know that a lot of people complained about the highway noise, but from our perspective, it was not an issue at all. Here is the reason for the reduced rating. When we checked in, there was no toilet paper to be found anywhere in the room. It was after 7pm and after 7pm, no one is on the premises, so we had no one to help. There is a phone number in the reception area that says we can call for the attendant, but I called and text and there was no response. It took until 11:45am the next morning for anyone to respond. For the price you pay to stay at the Setting Inn, unfortunately, that is not acceptable. Still a very cute place, but know what you're getting into before you book. …

The reviews looked too good to be true - but they are right. This inn is outstanding. From the moment we checked in for a two stay everything was perfect. Onsite manager Ashley was a great host, and full of information. Out cottage was immaculate and spacious, with beautiful views over vineyards. And despite being near a main road it was very quiet. Breakfast was also great - with delicious pastries. There was a coffee machine in our room, but freshly brewed coffee was available for collection in the main property. It is the sort of place you hope all inns are going to be (and so often aren’t!). I unhesitatingly recommend it.

I can't say enough good things about The Setting! We purchased this at at Dignity Health Foundation event and Winspire handled the entire booking experience with complete accuracy for our stay and wine tasting in the Napa Valley. The staff super friendly and accommodating- even found my favorite ball cap I left in the gym and sent it to me!!!! Perfectly located in a vineyard between downtown Napa and Yountville. The detached Cottage upgrade was fabulous and fresh squeezed OJ and pastries from Thomas Keller's Bouchon bakery delivered to our door step every morning. You can schedule a wine tasting right at the property and taste the wines that the owners of the hotel produce. Michael Ingellis is the tasting room coordinator and we enjoyed an afternoon of wine tasting, bought some wine and got all the hot tips on where to eat and play in the valley! This is a great hotel in a great location with a fantastic staff. The rooms were very comfortable in between 2 vineyards. The daily breakfast brought to your door is from the Bouchon Bakery. This will be our goto hotel now in Napa!

The Setting Inn was perfect for a quick one night getaway to Napa from SF. As the name says, "the setting" in the vineyards is romantic and wonderful, just South of Yountville. Even though it's right off the highway, it's still quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious and well appointed with a fireplace, comfy bed, and large bathtub. The Barn/Lounge is a fun place to relax - we did a private wine tasting there. BTW, The Setting also produces some delicious wines - try the 2016 Cab! They also have electric bikes you can borrow. We rode up to Yountville on the bike trail through the vineyards and had a picnic. We'll be back. (Oh, and my fiancée gave me a ring!!!)

My wife wanted to celebrate her 40th birthday in Napa, so we and 10 of our closest friends booked rooms for a weekend at The Setting Inn. Everything about the weekend was perfect, whether it be the wine tasting we had shortly after arriving, the quiet and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast outside our door every morning, space to socialize with our friends, or close proximity to downtown Napa and wineries. I would highly recommend to couples or parties of our size - David and his staff really made our stay memorable.

This was our first time staying at this inn. I was pleasantly surprised by this property. It was beautiful. We got to stay in the cottage that had 2 master bedrooms with king size bed. The only difference between the room was there was a tub in one of the bathrooms otherwise everything was pretty much same. There was a small lounge area in the center that was pretty helpful for socializing, that we put into quite a good use. The rooms were very clean with lovely wine country decor. The lady that checked us in was very kind and helpful. We also liked the breakfast tray that was delivered outside our room. All in all we would love to come back here again.
