Our experience and stay at this hotel was excellent. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Macy was our favorite. She was always smiling and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room while small, which we knew when we booked it, was clean and comfortable. We loved the high ceilings... More

We just stayed one night in this B&B. Nothing major to complain about but nothing great either. Location is quite central in Napa (which is a small town) but the city itself is not particularly lovely (maybe check some other towns in Napa Valley for more picturesque environment). Room was regularly sized but sound proofing was terrible and we could... More

Pricey but no worse than any mainstream hotel chain in the Napa Valley during late summer. Picture of my room might have looked better than the reality as the antiques are not recently refinished but but but. The Innkeepers are warm and friendy -- fabulous breakfast with other guests around a big table; wonderful French press coffee; useful location near... More

Loved staying at the Merlot House on our recent trip to Napa. The Inn keepers were the best, the food was awesome and the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Everything we asked for, they provided including a GF menu for my daughter. This has been the best B&B we have stayed in and have been there three times with... More

From the first time we entered the front door we were warmly welcomed. The room was beautiful, the bathroom extremely clean, the wine tasting in the evenings were fun, but by far the breakfast every morning was the best -- homemade, hot and delicious. We will return on our next trip to Napa.

I did extensive research on several travel sites and was impressed by the vast number of rave reviews. In hindsight I should have focused more on the few negative reviews because they were spot on and matched my experience. Over priced based on poor value. Major complaints and observations: bathroom was old, shower did not function properly, water temperature was... More

Dear Dannyboy in Socal, Thanks for sharing your experiences. We use TripAdvisor for all of our travels. It gives us valuable insights into the places we stay. Sometimes we’ll find a place that has lots of rave reviews, and a few “clunkers”. We read these bad reviews, along with the good ones. The bad reviews provide both balance and insight... More

Loved everything about this place. From the first steps inside we were welcomed with a tour of the beautiful house, where they keep coffee 24/7, morning breakfast, and late night dessert treats. There is a fire pit outside with seating around it. Parking was in the back or on the street out front and we had no trouble. The best... More

We stayed in the Starry Night room. Incredibly quiet and comfortable. Great breakfasts and evening treats. Only a few blocks from downtown Napa. Great service and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at Cabernet House recently, and it was lovely. The staff were incredibly welcoming as well as helpful in finding our way around. They made excellent recommendations for where to go as first time visitors to Napa. Our room (we stayed in the Biblioteca room) was quite comfortable. The clawfoot tub/shower was great (my husband highly... More

I chose this hotel based on location and price. The room: We stayed in the Cottage in the back of the property. It's right off the driveway, but it was very quiet, I never heard people driving in and out. It came equipped with a projector and Blu Ray player (there's a movie library in the main house). The room... More
