We loved our stay at Churchhill Manor! The owners, Joanna and Brian, go out of their way to make your stay special. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. The breakfasts were a highlight of the day. And each afternoon they give you fresh baked cookies and a small charcuterie plate to enjoy with wine. Location was excellent…one block walk to downtown Napa.

We were recently guests at Churchill Manor in Napa for three nights, and I could have stayed longer. We were in Atlas Peak, which is on the 3rd floor and is a corner room with lots of windows. Brian and Chris the owners are fantastic. Very friendly and fun to talk to. The Manor house is exquisite. Lots of antiques, unique woods, and history. There are plenty of spots to make yourself comfortable and cozy up with a book. In two of the common rooms they have puzzles out on tables. Each evening guests are served meat and cheese plates with local wine, and cookies. The huge wrap around porch is filled with comfy furniture and it was our favorite spot during our stay. The inn is located downtown Napa and it is a short walk to restaurants, shops and the river. Our room was stunning, see pictures attached. The room was huge with a nice sofa and fireplace. The bathroom had everything we needed and a two person shower. Breakfasts were scrumptious and served in the breakfast room or on the porch. There is onsite parking which is a huge plus as downtown Napa can be tricky to park. The location is amazing, the inn stunning and the breakfasts plentiful and delicious. Another tip: there are a lot of stairs and no elevator as this is an old manor home from the 1800's, so if you have mobility issues and can't climb stairs, this won't work for you. We will definitely be back.…

We have been to Napa a number of times, but this was our first time staying at Churchill Manor. We spent two nights here, and it is absolutely magnificent! Brian and Joanna are wonderful hosts, and very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They have been here almost 40 years, and they have maintained this beautiful, historic mansion wonderfully. The breakfasts are fantastic - a rotation that included omelettes, pancakes, huevos rancheros, French toast, and fresh fruit. The afternoon happy hour, with wine and charcuterie, is an excellent social hour to connect with other guests. We spent an hour each evening before dinner talking with young couples from Malta, Dallas, Portland, and Brooklyn. The property is a 5-minute walk from downtown where there are so many restaurants, coffee shops, wineries, and shops. And there are two EV charging stations for guests with electric vehicles. Beautiful grounds! Overall, highly recommended!…

We have been to CM three times over the past few years. Each time, it gets better with respect to service, ambiance and comfort. We stayed in the Stag's Leap room. I highly recommend it. It is large. There is a king bed, nice sitting area with a fireplace and has a large shower and separate tub. There is plenty of space for your clothes. The owners are engaging and delightful. We went fishing one morning and the owner went to the local store and purchased us fresh fruit and yogurt to replace the morning breakfast that we would miss. Speaking of breakfasts, they were superb. They offer a protein or sweet plate (waffles, pancakes). Since we are from San Antonio, we were delighted that the protein offerings were geared toward a southwestern flair. They are not overly spicy for you Yankees and the cooks are flexible with regard to food preferences. There is a happy hour with gratis, local wines and hors d'oeuvres. Perhaps, the highlight is the fresh-baked cookies. Beware. They are set out in the foyer and they go fast! I think that compared to other options in Napa, CM offers high value and will be our choice for Napa lodging for years to come. Don't make a mistake. Reserve at CM. You won't be disappointed. …

Magical, amazing, fantastic, unique, elegant, excellent, immaculate, etc. All of the superlatives you read in the 5 star reviews are spot on. There isn’t much more that I can add that hasn’t been stated already. What a memorable experience! It’s like staying in one of “America’s Castles.” The minute you get out of your car, you know this is something special. The owners are (amongst other things) professional contractors so the maintenance and restoration of the home is flawless. Every little detail is well thought out as they are also experienced event planners as well. They have owned the home since 1987. The whole place is spotless, even outside. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a gas fireplace and individual AC that was quiet and efficient. The bed was heavenly. There is no elevator however and some rooms are on the third floor, so be aware of this. Also no TVs in the rooms (didn’t miss it for a minute). Good wi-fi of course. Free parking with EV charger. You can easily walk the downtown Napa area from there including a river walk sidewalk. The area feels very safe. I did not see a single homeless person or any graffiti whatsoever during our walk downtown. Nor any tourist shops selling junk like coffee cups and key chains. Located in a quaint neighborhood surrounded by other mansions as well as an eclectic array of smaller older homes. The hosts Brian and Joanna of course can steer you toward restaurants, shops wineries, whatever. Everything was very well organized. You could tell that they are seasoned pros and have been doing this for quite a while. We were so grateful to have found this place and to have had the privilege of staying here for our first trip to Napa.…

We’ve just finished 3 days in Napa, nestled in between stays in San Francisco. It’s a great place to stay. A short stroll into the centre of Napa, but still quiet. The rooms a spacious and comfortable, the breakfast generous, and the whole place is filled with interesting furniture and paintings. The hosts also couldn’t be more helpful. Very glad we chose here.
