This stay far exceeded my expectations on all fronts! My friend and I were visiting from out of town for a girls weekend, and managed to book the last remaining room. When we arrived, not only was it a stunning view, but there was a complimentary, free and never full parking lot right on property. When we arrived, several guests were enjoying the complimentary happy hour wine and snacks and chatting with the inn owners, Brian and Joanna. Registration was very casual and easy, and Brian was kind enough to help us with our luggage up to our room. This was especially nice as we were on the third floor and there is no elevator (as noted on their website). We had booked the Howell Mountain Room. Brian was very kind and I was taking in the decor as we made our way up. Everything was so ornate and I absolutely felt like it was a blast from the past. The room was very nice, a good size (queen bed and 1 bathroom). Plenty of space for both my friend and I to put our things on respective sides of the bed. There was a beautiful armoire and desk, as well as a fireplace. Plenty of outlets, good lighting, no TV. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Good water pressure. One thing that really stood out to me was how incredibly quiet it was in the room. At no point during our stay did I hear anyone else in their rooms, no talking in the hall, couldn't even hear Joanna playing the piano downstairs (she is very talented!) I travel a lot for work, and let me tell you, the absence of noise was astounding. I also appreciated a note about the history of the property that was in the room. A lovely highlight, in addition to the happy hour wine and snacks (cookies, cheeses, fruits), they had coffee, juice, teas, and water out at all times. And breakfast was fantastic! For the life of me, I don't know where I put the piece of paper that Brian gave me with the names of their staff, but they were also great! The cook gets an A+ from me. Saturday was your choice of french toast or an omelette. They were generous enough to give you both if you wanted, but as we had a wine tasting to get to, we opted to get one of each and split them. Sunday's breakfast was pancakes and a polenta dish. They were very good about trying to accommodate any dietary restrictions, just be sure to tell them in advance so they can prepare. We had a very leisurely time, did not feel rushed at any time, and I do have to say how welcoming everyone was. Most of the guests were couples or big groups, so 2 friends did not stand out in any way. It was a truly lovely time and I will absolutely be going back. Thank you!

We were recently guests at Churchill Manor in Napa for three nights, and I could have stayed longer. We were in Atlas Peak, which is on the 3rd floor and is a corner room with lots of windows.

Brian and Chris the owners are fantastic. Very friendly and fun to talk to. The Manor house is exquisite. Lots of antiques, unique woods, and history.

There are plenty of spots to make yourself comfortable and cozy up with a book. In two of the common rooms they have puzzles out on tables. Each evening guests are served meat and cheese plates with local wine, and cookies. The huge wrap around porch is filled with comfy furniture and it was our favorite spot during our stay.

The inn is located downtown Napa and it is a short walk to restaurants, shops and the river.

Our room was stunning, see pictures attached. The room was huge with a nice sofa and fireplace. The bathroom had everything we needed and a two person shower.

Breakfasts were scrumptious and served in the breakfast room or on the porch. There is onsite parking which is a huge plus as downtown Napa can be tricky to park. The location is amazing, the inn stunning and the breakfasts plentiful and delicious.

Another tip: there are a lot of stairs and no elevator as this is an old manor home from the 1800's, so if you have mobility issues and can't climb stairs, this won't work for you.

We will definitely be back.

We have been to CM three times over the past few years. Each time, it gets better with respect to service, ambiance and comfort. We stayed in the Stag's Leap room. I highly recommend it. It is large. There is a king bed, nice sitting area with a fireplace and has a large shower and separate tub. There is plenty of space for your clothes. The owners are engaging and delightful. We went fishing one morning and the owner went to the local store and purchased us fresh fruit and yogurt to replace the morning breakfast that we would miss. Speaking of breakfasts, they were superb. They offer a protein or sweet plate (waffles, pancakes). Since we are from San Antonio, we were delighted that the protein offerings were geared toward a southwestern flair. They are not overly spicy for you Yankees and the cooks are flexible with regard to food preferences. There is a happy hour with gratis, local wines and hors d'oeuvres. Perhaps, the highlight is the fresh-baked cookies. Beware. They are set out in the foyer and they go fast!

I think that compared to other options in Napa, CM offers high value and will be our choice for Napa lodging for years to come. Don't make a mistake. Reserve at CM. You won't be disappointed.

Recently had a 2 night stay at Churchill Manor and loved everything about it. The Inn Keepers, Joanna and Brian are super friendly and very accommodating. We were leaving a bit earlier than the normal breakfast time and they arranged with the kitchen staff to have it served early for us. Speaking of the breakfast - both days it was fantastic. Plenty of food to get your day started, plus in the afternoon there are home baked cookies and a happy hour with their own wine and savory snacks. The Inn itself is beautiful, especially the gardens. There is plenty of parking and the location is just a few blocks walk from downtown Napa. The rooms are all named after Napa Wine Regions and our was the Spring Mountain. It was very comfortable and the the shower was great. It is however on the third floor so walking up stairs is a requirement as there is no elevator. Not a problem for us, but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. Their prices are also reasonable, which is often hard to find in the Napa area. Highly recommend a stay at Churchill Manor if you are in the area.

It was like a dream, when one gets into a charmed place where time stops and it’s feels like a you belong and safe and enjoy life.
The manor is beautiful, spotlessly clean, playing soft music, one can seat on veranda and look at the rose garden or speak with warm and welcoming hosts.
They put their soul and love in every detail, even traditional for Napa happy hour with wine and cheese is much more.
I would love to think that me and my husband will be back for our next anniversary to Churchill Manor and it will be our special place from now on

While traveling on business, my husband and I chose the Churchhill Manor because we found it in the Select Registry book of excellent bed and breakfast Inns. We were not disappointed! The innkeepers Brian and Joanna were so friendly and helpful and even chatted with us in the TV room while we watched the playoff baseball game even after their team had lost to our team earlier in the week. We had a great time with them! The Rutherford suite we stayed in was beautiful. It had a very comfortable bed, private bathroom with a lovely shower and a wonderful old world style. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our one night stay very much. Breakfast was fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly and brought us a beautiful French toast and baked polenta with cheese and poached egg which was delicious. Coffee and tea and juices are also served. They also serve hors d’oeuvres and wine in the evening along with cookie snacks at different times during the day. We love the Churchhill Manor and look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Napa!

Churchill Manor was a wonderful stay we managed to get with a last-minute booking. We weren't sure what to expect, even though there were some good reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised.

It is conveniently located close to town, so you can walk to the center with shops and dining options. Yet it is on a quiet street with its own parking lot.

The building, interior, and grounds are beautiful, and we liked the personal touches that made you feel welcome and at home—the afternoon cookies and the wine and nibbles plates.

The restaurant serves a quality breakfast, and the staff is always smiling and helpful.

We highly recommend staying here.

Churchill Manor provided the best B & B experience I have ever had. There was literally nothing to improve on! Brian and Joanna have perfected the fine art of atmosphere and hospitality in their beautiful, gracious old home. The Manor itself has been lovingly and tastefully restored, and is a joy to experience. The garden surround is beautifully appealing to the eye at every turn. We could not tear ourselves away from the glorious deep front porch, so instead of going out to dinner we simply stayed there and soaked it in as the evening fell quietly around us. The afternoon wine & cheese/tea/hors d'/oeuvres provided for all of the guests was the perfect welcoming touch, including wines from the proprietors' personal vineyard. The breakfast, served at tables on the porch, was generous and exquisite. The rooms and beds were magnificently comfortable, and lovely in every detail. Every smallest thing to make the stay a pleasant one had been thought of and provided. This place could be used as the textbook gold standard for B & B's ~ if you want to know how to really do it right, go there, observe and learn. If you want to have a luxuriously elegant and relaxing getaway, book yourself a room at Churchill Manor. You won't regret it, and you'll want to come back again. And again. I do hope that Brian and Joanna, who run the Manor themselves which in itself is a refreshing rarity in the B&B world, will stay on here and do what they do so perfectly for a long time to come. I'm looking forward to when life will bring me a chance to return.

We have been to Napa a number of times, but this was our first time staying at Churchill Manor. We spent two nights here, and it is absolutely magnificent! Brian and Joanna are wonderful hosts, and very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They have been here almost 40 years, and they have maintained this beautiful, historic mansion wonderfully. The breakfasts are fantastic - a rotation that included omelettes, pancakes, huevos rancheros, French toast, and fresh fruit. The afternoon happy hour, with wine and charcuterie, is an excellent social hour to connect with other guests. We spent an hour each evening before dinner talking with young couples from Malta, Dallas, Portland, and Brooklyn. The property is a 5-minute walk from downtown where there are so many restaurants, coffee shops, wineries, and shops. And there are two EV charging stations for guests with electric vehicles. Beautiful grounds! Overall, highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here at the very beginning of April and I can't stop recommending it to people! The property, manor, and rooms are just gorgeous. We stayed in the Atlas Peak on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet. Our room had a lovely fireplace and bath tub, and this emerald green shower that I wish I had in my own home. It was a close walk to DT Napa, but far enough away that it felt quiet and secluded. They host a happy hour on the veranda every evening featuring their own delicious wine and sometimes Brian, one of the owners, shows off his spectacular piano playing skills!
Every morning there were two gourmet breakfast options that you can customize to fit your needs. Brian and Joanne are great conversationalist and wonderful hosts. We don't typically stay at the same place twice but we will definitely be back here some day!
