Nice rooms and nice interior. However, we were there for a holiday weekend and it was so crowded there were lines and waits for everything. Tons of people - no pool chairs, no towels, no staff, etc. Concierges (there are 4) need training - they arent helpful at all - very nice but not knowledgeable. If you go, ask about...

We stayed here for a business function. I thought it was very nice. I would have liked to be able to take a jog from the hotel, but I had to drive to a park since the hotel is in an industrial park. The dinner we had during the business function was one of the best meals. The eggs for...

Stayed over 4th of July weekend. drop up from San Fran with an electric vehicle. No one knew how to use the charging stations. A bit bizarre. Mad a deluxe king room which is clean, nice decor. Bathroom is decent. No room by the pool, either the adult or family pool. Very disappointed. Happened two days in a row. Make sure you...

The Meritage resort has some good points: the people who work there are friendly, the rooms are pretty nice (at least our suite was), and it's convenient to Napa and Sonoma. But it doesn't really have a resort feel. It's wedged between Highways 12 and 29, and despite some vineyards on the property, it looks like condos with decent landscaping...

We were just checking out this resort, and ended up bowling. But to sum it up, this is where people from Vallejo, Antioch, and beyond who normally stay in 3 stars or below hotels like Hilton think as a fancy resort. But for people who are custom to the Four Seasons level hotels/resorts (I call those "hotel snobs" including myself),...

We stayed here the the 4th of July weekend to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. There is nothing wrong with a hotel -- the theme is sort of Tuscany???? So we were in Napa for particular reason - jazz festival held there every year in June, but since it was our first trip to that part of California we've decided to spend some extra time to explore Napa Valley. Beautiful conference center type hotel on sm vineyard in Napa. Food at various restaurants was sub par - I would go elsewhere for restaurants but other than that the property was very clean and pretty. Kids enjoyed the bowling alley on property and the spa was lovely.
