We live in the bay areas so this is an easy trip for us. Our second visit here was lovely. Rooms are spotless and extensive controls are in place for COVID 19. Breakfasts are delicious and creative. Risotto tots! Enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Wonderful hosts!

This is our second time staying at the Inn and it was just as great as the first. I cannot say enough good things about the Inn on First! COVID - They took every precaution to ensure that we felt safe. We were originally going to stay in the main house but they moved us to the garden suites so that we had a private entrance and exit to our room to limit contact with the hosts or any other guests. They offered us breakfast on the patio or in our room every morning. We choose the patio because it was such perfect weather during our stay. Our rooms were clean and welcoming upon our arrival. The location of the Inn is great, we love staying here because we can go wine tasting all day and then walk to dinner without having to worry about an Uber/Lyft. Jim and Jamie do a great job making you feel welcome and we can't wait to go back.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Inn on First with my family in January 2020. It was our first visit to the Napa Valley & it was incredible! Staying at The Inn made our trip that much more spectacular. Jim and Jamie are simply the best hosts & innkeepers around....from the comfortable & exceptionally clean rooms to the over the top original & homemade breakfasts! We can't wait to go back to The Inn on First!

This was a repeat visit for us and this time we brought some friends. All three couples thoroughly enjoyed staying in this gorgeous home. The breakfasts are delightfully delicious with fresh ingredients and so creative. Jim is a dynamic host and a wonderful chef to boot. We enjoyed visiting with him at breakfast, along with Isobel who was so helpful. Mornings start with an assortment of teas or coffee, a home-baked pastry and fresh fruit. The entrees that followed each morning were incredible. You'll be surprised!! The rooms are inviting, comfortable, romantic, free of tv, and the tub!!! OMG. Walking distance to downtown Napa is just about 10-15 minutes depending on how fast you walk. We love this place and cannot wait to stay again. Thanks Jim!!!

Dear LouiseDavid, We cannot thank you enough for returning and especially bringing a group of very nice friends along for the ride! It is such a wonderful kind of referral, we are so grateful. I'm grateful, after all these years, to be able to put a smile on faces at the breakfast table. Food is my passion and I'm happy to share with you and your friends. Good point about our proximity to downtown, it makes dining so easy! Thanks, also, for taking the time to share online and we hope to see you all again one day. Jim
