We stayed one night and it was nice and clean. We chose this place because it was conveniently located near the wine train and downtown Napa. Although we had paid ahead online we were disappointed to be charged $28 at check out for what they called a “destination fee”. This apparently covers amenities such as wine tasting at the hotel which we did not use. We didn’t use any of the amenities associated with this fee but were charged anyway. It would make sense to charge this fee to people who used these amenities. It doesn’t seem fair to charge people for services they didn’t use. I was also disappointed that there was no pool or hot tub. For a pricey place like this I would expect a least a pool.
Highly recommend the River Terrace Inn. It’s less than a ten minute walk from the Oxbow public market and fifteen or so to downtown. We loved walking along the river! The hotel was very clean, and had modern decor. We loved our room which felt spacious despite being a standard guest room and we enjoyed the balcony. The shower had amazing water pressure and we loved the toiletries. I wish I had that mattress at home. So cozy. We felt very safe with the COVID procedures and the quality of cleaning. Free parking was definitely a perk. While we had dinner out, I highly recommend dessert and drinks at Alba. The fire pits set the perfect mood and we enjoyed the lava cake dessert (with fresh berries and vanilla icecream) as well as a peach mule. I’m confident the other menu options would be great too. The hotel has great natural light and the staff were very friendly! A big shout out to Kevin and Chantrelle (sorry if spelled that wrong!) at the front desk and Jose from Alba. We hope to visit again soon!…
River Terrace Inn proved to be one of the best deals in the area and offers perhaps incomparable outdoor space. It is conveniently situated just steps from Oxbow and just over the bridge from downtown Napa.
We booked because of the majority positive comments. I’m going 4 out of 5 because of the room rate inconsistency when making our reservation. The comments online about noise have some validity, but nothing that marred our experience. They could have slightly better beds and pillows but we generally slept well. Mostly it was everything advertised in my opinion. The best part about the location is being right on the river, and the proximity to the Oxbow Public Market and Waterfront areas. You do have to work to get a good, clear rate, but the location and experience can’t be beat!
Nobel house can do better. This isn’t a typical feel of their properties. It is like a dressed up holiday inn. The greeting was nice. The food was super slow. The bar opened late and closed early. Very small outdoor space.
Although this hotel was fine or even good, be prepared to meet a $28 "welcome" fee. For this fee, which is non-negotiable, the staff say hello and offer you a bottle of water. This fee was imposed after arrival, without my approval. I plan to dispute this fee with my credit card company.
we arrived really late, however we were still greeted with Isabel's warm, enthusiastic energy. professional, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. she offered us welcome drinks and gave us a beautiful room that my friend and i enjoyed. thank you!
My wife and I liked the feedback we initially saw from previous visitors on Tripadvisor, but we needed to see for ourselves. And we were NOT disappointed, We couldn't have been more pleased with River Terrace Inn!! From the time we arrived, we felt welcomed valued as guests. French Chatteu style hotel, with an elegant, but not pretentious, lobby. The front desk greeted us with smiles and a nice glass of wine. Special shout out to Jada! Jada went above and beyond to accommodate us and several guest that visited us on the Terrace. Our guests were so impressed, they plan to to book their next stay at River Terrace Inn. Our room was very much to our liking. Well appointment, very clean and quiet. We would strongly recommend River Terrace Inn to our friends and Family and anyone else planning a visit to the Napa Valley area. We certainly plan to book our next stay in Napa Valley with River Terrace. Can't wait!!…
Hotel is run down and they provide NO house keeping services-even if you ask. Way to many better options to stay here. I have stayed here 5 previous times and each time it gets worse and worse. Never again. Also Managent could careless.
We loved staying here - the staff never say no for anything, they are amazing always helpful and the hotel overall was clean and amazing I loved the food and the friendliness of the front desk we were there for an offsite and the arrangements were spot on
