We stayed at the Milliken Creek Inn on the first stop of our California honeymoon and couldn't be happier. Even though the pandemic limited some of the amenities (no spa), we loved having breakfast every morning in our beautiful room, which overlooked the creek. The property is quiet and peaceful, though sometimes there is some road noise. There is daily wine and cheese (red or white) included, which was lovely to come home to every evening. We loved our room as well - cathedral ceilings, fan, tub, full bathroom, gas fireplace to take away that morning chill, coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and we slept so soundly. Everything felt very safe, but still luxurious and serene like we wanted. We're definitely planning our return!

My wife and I stayed at Milliken Creek Inn 5 years ago for her birthday and it was wonderful. Beautiful grounds, fabulous room, excellent service, great food, wine tastings every evening, and so on. So we decided to go there again for her birthday this year. It’s quite expensive, but based on our previous stay, we thought it would be worth it. What a disappointment. We did not get the room we requested when I made the reservation way in advance. The room we were assigned in the main building had multiple issues: the blinds could not be rolled up and one of them was permanently askew, one of the windows had a broken latch and did not close completely, the fireplace did not work, the flashlight in the drawer was dead, etc. The parking lot was crowded with construction workers. The front desk staff hid away behind a glass door plus a plexiglass shield and mask and was nearly invisible. Virtually no human contact during our stay at all. Most surprising of all, the “welcome gift” of cheese and fruit was delivered in a cardboard box with wine in a can! A CAN! In Napa Valley! OMG. And the wine was terrible, undrinkable. Considering the cost of the room you would think they could at least give us a half bottle of wine from one of the local wineries, who would probably be glad for the promotion. We would have left after the first night but we had paid in advance and everything in Napa was heavily booked. So we stuck it out but we will never go there again.

The staff at Milliken Creek were amazing, and they went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The rooms were large and comfy, and the location was perfect. Outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough that driving and getting rides was a non-issue. Breakfast and wine & cheese each day were a great way to start and end our days. We will be back.

I can not believe the terrible customer service this place has. My fiance and I just got married on Saturday and we're unfortunately placed under another stay at home order. We were set to stay at two hotels, one of them called us immediately and cancelled the reservation since we legally can't go there. This hotel, however, was so unbelievable rude. I called them and asked if we could cancel since we legally can't make it and they told me no and that it was my fault because I booked the black Friday special? And that it's not they're fault I didn't read that the black Friday special was non refundable? First of all, I had no idea that it was even a black friday special, I was simply trying to book a honeymoon for my fiance and I and I happened to do it on Black Friday weekend. Second of all, how is that the way to treat your customers? Coronavirus is killing hundreds of thousands of people but, instead of refunding a newly married couple their money so we can stay home and safe, you'd rather screw us out of $700 for something we can not control at all? Then I started to get upset, obviously, as that's a lot of money to have stolen from you, and the manager wouldn't listen to my, kept cutting me off and being unbelievably rude, and hung up on me. They offered us a gift certificate. As if we would EVER stay in a place that treated us so poorly. Honestly, this was the absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced and I don't care how pretty this place might look, they clearly would rather place their customer's lives in danger instead of complying with a state wise stay at home order. I hope the manager who was so awful to me reads this, and knows that you had a chance to be a good person and you weren't. I hope your higher ups see it to. Please, people, go anywhere else.

Loved my room and the service! I had a beautiful view, a nice cozy fireplace, and delicious complimentary breakfast each morning. Plus you also get a complimentary picnic box with cheese, fruit, nuts, homemade cookies, and a can of red or white wine (1 box per room). There are cute patio or sitting areas, near the creek, to mingle or just enjoy the outside. It is less than a 10 minute drive from Downtown Napa if you are looking for lunch or dinner plans. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Milliken 3 nights and did not want to leave!
