We enjoyed the quaint boutique property. The customer service was impeccable. The amenities added great value to our stay. They provide an excellent breakfast. The evening wine and cheese pairing was a great addition to our stay.
This was our second trip to Milliken Creek Inn. What a beautiful location on the banks of Milliken Creek. From the moment we arrived, Missy warmly greeted us and made sure all was perfect. Our room was so beautiful, the bedding and mattress were so comfortable, and the amenities are the best. Our in-room breakfast was served promptly and hot. The selections are many and delicious. I definitely would recommend Milliken Creek Inn the next time you are staying in Napa.
An absolutely perfect get away. The room was immaculate. The view from the balcony and personal fire pit was delightful. Every member of the staff was exceptional. Covid protocols made me feel safe. I cannot wait to return.
The Milliken Inn is so quaint - front the services, to the room to the included amenities (wine and cheese hour, s'mores over the fire pit, breakfast delivered to room) it was a treat to be there. Everything is well appointed and very clean. Very close to downtown Napa which has more and more to do there. Would def return there!
Couldn’t have been better. This was the perfect stay. We are seasoned travelers ( not to sound pretentious) and both agreed that these people have built something special here. Breakfast was awesome. Quiet. Newly renovated. Wildlife all around. Saw a 8 point buck right outside the room. Just book it. Oh yeah.... go to Don Giovanis and for the perfect wine tour call Nick Valencia at Napa Valley wine tours.
This was our first time in Napa and our first experience at a bed and breakfast so we weren’t sure what to expect but this was an absolutely wonderful experience at a beautiful property. They recently renovated the property and it’s very tastefully done. The location sits right on a quiet part of the Napa river and is less than a 10 min drive to downtown Napa. We stayed in the Cedar room (Ask for room 7, it has the best layout.) The rooms are well appointed, clean, have very comfortable beds, fireplaces and we loved the separate soaking tub looking out onto the property from the multiple windows in our room. The Tivoli speaker was a nice addition to the room as well the smart TV, Apple TV and mini fridge. They also offer complementary in room L’occitaine bath products. Side note… I want to give them 5 stars for their HVAC system! Epically cold air conditioning in 90 degree weather is always appreciated!! Every afternoon they will text you to invite you to pickup your wine and cheese that you can enjoy anywhere on property. We recommend the super comfortable cushioned chaise loungers overlooking the river. They offer a nice selection of breakfast options and none of it disappointed. Breakfast was always on time and we loved eating on our patio. The staff is very accommodating, service oriented and happy to assist in making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Thanks for everything and we look forward to seeing you soon!…
I almost never write reviews but wanted to take a minute to review this awesome find! My husband and I stayed here for our first getaway without the kids in over 2 years and it was perfect! It was clean and quiet with really classy finishes. But the best part were all of the little details. Daily room service breakfast was included and quite good. We enjoyed the daily wine and cheese hour down by the creek as well. Sadly, we missed the s’mores because we had late dinner reservations both nights but the kits looked super fancy with huge home made marshmallows. The staff was super friendly and check in/out was easy. My husband who is quite picky about hotels was even impressed! Highly recommend for a couples get away.
We stayed at the Milliken Creek Inn on the first stop of our California honeymoon and couldn't be happier. Even though the pandemic limited some of the amenities (no spa), we loved having breakfast every morning in our beautiful room, which overlooked the creek. The property is quiet and peaceful, though sometimes there is some road noise. There is daily wine and cheese (red or white) included, which was lovely to come home to every evening. We loved our room as well - cathedral ceilings, fan, tub, full bathroom, gas fireplace to take away that morning chill, coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and we slept so soundly. Everything felt very safe, but still luxurious and serene like we wanted. We're definitely planning our return!
My wife and I stayed at Milliken Creek Inn 5 years ago for her birthday and it was wonderful. Beautiful grounds, fabulous room, excellent service, great food, wine tastings every evening, and so on. So we decided to go there again for her birthday this year. It’s quite expensive, but based on our previous stay, we thought it would be worth it. What a disappointment. We did not get the room we requested when I made the reservation way in advance. The room we were assigned in the main building had multiple issues: the blinds could not be rolled up and one of them was permanently askew, one of the windows had a broken latch and did not close completely, the fireplace did not work, the flashlight in the drawer was dead, etc. The parking lot was crowded with construction workers. The front desk staff hid away behind a glass door plus a plexiglass shield and mask and was nearly invisible. Virtually no human contact during our stay at all. Most surprising of all, the “welcome gift” of cheese and fruit was delivered in a cardboard box with wine in a can! A CAN! In Napa Valley! OMG. And the wine was terrible, undrinkable. Considering the cost of the room you would think they could at least give us a half bottle of wine from one of the local wineries, who would probably be glad for the promotion. We would have left after the first night but we had paid in advance and everything in Napa was heavily booked. So we stuck it out but we will never go there again. …
The staff at Milliken Creek were amazing, and they went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The rooms were large and comfy, and the location was perfect. Outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough that driving and getting rides was a non-issue. Breakfast and wine & cheese each day were a great way to start and end our days. We will be back.
