The staff, rooms, and common areas at this property are top-notch. If you want an intimate, cozy and well-located home base in the Napa area, this is an excellent choice. The location on the river is peaceful and the rooms with decks offer a lovely place to sit and have a glass of wine or breakfast. We can't wait to visit again!

This was our first time in Napa and our first experience at a bed and breakfast so we weren’t sure what to expect but this was an absolutely wonderful experience at a beautiful property. They recently renovated the property and it’s very tastefully done. The location sits right on a quiet part of the Napa river and is less than a 10 min drive to downtown Napa. We stayed in the Cedar room (Ask for room 7, it has the best layout.) The rooms are well appointed, clean, have very comfortable beds, fireplaces and we loved the separate soaking tub looking out onto the property from the multiple windows in our room. The Tivoli speaker was a nice addition to the room as well the smart TV, Apple TV and mini fridge. They also offer complementary in room L’occitaine bath products. Side note… I want to give them 5 stars for their HVAC system! Epically cold air conditioning in 90 degree weather is always appreciated!! Every afternoon they will text you to invite you to pickup your wine and cheese that you can enjoy anywhere on property. We recommend the super comfortable cushioned chaise loungers overlooking the river. They offer a nice selection of breakfast options and none of it disappointed. Breakfast was always on time and we loved eating on our patio. The staff is very accommodating, service oriented and happy to assist in making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Thanks for everything and we look forward to seeing you soon!

A great quiet getaway on the Napa River to cozy up by the fire. The Milliken Creek Inn is a perfect place tucked away from the hustle and bustle but very close to Downtown Napa so you have easy access to restaurants. A boutique inn with only a limited number of rooms offers the feel of your own home. The staff is very nice and welcoming, too! Highly recommend if your looking for a nice, cozy place to getaway in Napa!

My wife and I stayed at Milliken Creek Inn 5 years ago for her birthday and it was wonderful. Beautiful grounds, fabulous room, excellent service, great food, wine tastings every evening, and so on. So we decided to go there again for her birthday this year. It’s quite expensive, but based on our previous stay, we thought it would be worth it. What a disappointment.

We did not get the room we requested when I made the reservation way in advance. The room we were assigned in the main building had multiple issues: the blinds could not be rolled up and one of them was permanently askew, one of the windows had a broken latch and did not close completely, the fireplace did not work, the flashlight in the drawer was dead, etc. The parking lot was crowded with construction workers. The front desk staff hid away behind a glass door plus a plexiglass shield and mask and was nearly invisible. Virtually no human contact during our stay at all. Most surprising of all, the “welcome gift” of cheese and fruit was delivered in a cardboard box with wine in a can! A CAN! In Napa Valley! OMG. And the wine was terrible, undrinkable. Considering the cost of the room you would think they could at least give us a half bottle of wine from one of the local wineries, who would probably be glad for the promotion.

We would have left after the first night but we had paid in advance and everything in Napa was heavily booked. So we stuck it out but we will never go there again.

this is a very quaint and lovely hideaway B and B in Napa. we stayed in a suite and it was lovely. bed was great, fireplace was prefect. there is a full bathroom with shower and a stand alone tub outside of the bathroom behind a wall. it is joyful! the products they give are great as well and the upkeep is clearly done well. Breakfast is very tasty. lots of choices and variety and very well done. they have coffee and tea all day long, cookies and a wine and cheese hour if you desire. the property is very beautiful along the river. it is quiet and you dont really have to run into anyone. they dont have a large table for Breakfast you can get it anywhere on the property which is nice. no forced connections etc., all staff very helpful. during the winter it is less pricey. their spa was not up and running but did offer in room treatments if you wanted but there are other local spas to go to if you would prefer more full service etc.,

We were lucky - my husband and I are from New Zealand and started looking at all the accommodation options available and luckily our New York friends said there is only one place to stay in Napa!! Gorgeous, large, well-appointed room with a lovely view of the river. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The wine tasting, cheese platters and port in the evening was a particularly special touch. It is very close to the town and we used Uber for evening meals. We loved it here and will definitely stay here when we return. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We stayed at the Milliken Creek Inn on the first stop of our California honeymoon and couldn't be happier. Even though the pandemic limited some of the amenities (no spa), we loved having breakfast every morning in our beautiful room, which overlooked the creek. The property is quiet and peaceful, though sometimes there is some road noise. There is daily wine and cheese (red or white) included, which was lovely to come home to every evening. We loved our room as well - cathedral ceilings, fan, tub, full bathroom, gas fireplace to take away that morning chill, coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and we slept so soundly. Everything felt very safe, but still luxurious and serene like we wanted. We're definitely planning our return!

Loved my room and the service! I had a beautiful view, a nice cozy fireplace, and delicious complimentary breakfast each morning. Plus you also get a complimentary picnic box with cheese, fruit, nuts, homemade cookies, and a can of red or white wine (1 box per room). There are cute patio or sitting areas, near the creek, to mingle or just enjoy the outside.
It is less than a 10 minute drive from Downtown Napa if you are looking for lunch or dinner plans. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Milliken 3 nights and did not want to leave!

I visited Milliken from May 1-May 4 to celebrate my lovely lady’s birthday. The check in process was efficient. While we arrived a little late, they were in contact with us via text to ensure there was not anything additional we needed. The grounds are beautiful. There was rain the majority of our stay. Thus, we were unable to enjoy the grounds as much as we would have liked. We were able spend one day outside on the patio. The attendant was extremely kind and brought us blankets and turned on the fire-pit. She even brought us a glass of Cabernet. Milleken does a social hour each day which we enjoyed. There was plenty of wine and cheese available. The room was nice size and quite clean. The view from the patio of the Napa River was excellent. Breakfast was via room service. With the exception of one day, it was always on time. The quality of the food was pretty good. I wouldn’t say it was the best quality food that I’ve had from a B&B but good nonetheless. The location of The Milleken is near down town but also away from high traffic areas. The front desk staff was helpful in providing recommendations for restaurants and activities. The only criticism I will provide is ensuring clean towels each day. There was one day that clean towels were not refreshed in our room.

Amazing staff. We were allowed to check in early. They also gave a courtesy call noticing that we had not placed our bed and breakfast order for our last day and wanted to know what we wanted before the kitchen closed. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the well kept grounds and Milliken creek. There is a small zen waterfall pond on the grounds that was pleasing to look at. The bathtub spa was perfect and it was the reason why I booked this quaint and charming inn. Complimentary wine and cheese mini picnic each afternoon were a heartwarming touch that added to the romantic ambiance. Our compliments to the chef for our delicious included breakfasts. We had one in bed and the next day we decided to have our breakfast on our private balcony watching the peaceful waters. Apparently I have a max of 10 photos, but cannot post them all due to size limit. Ah oh well. Anyways, I highly recommend this beautiful place to stay at in Napa (our room was #3). It's a hidden gem. And I probably would stay here again, if I were to visit Napa in the future again.
