We travel to wine country yearly. This little gem was perfect for a secluded getaway, away from more crowded Yountville. Loved having a Vineyard view suite and watching the hot air balloons most mornings sail above the vineyard off our balcony. Understandably, there was pre-ordered breakfast options from Bouchon that were quite stale. Maybe they get their delivery/order in once a week and go off what they brought in? We went to Bouchon ourselves and brought back food after the first mornings stale delivery. That was basically our only complaint!

This property is fantastic. My boyfriend and I have been cooped up in our apartment since March due to COVID-19, so we were looking for a quick, safe getaway. We chose Senza because the property looked beautiful and they advertised better than average safety practices. Both of these selling points turned out to be more than true. We chose to stay in the Senza Suite, which is a bit more spendy but offers a private patio and a bit more square footage than standard rooms. The best part, undeniably, is the patio. It's private, beautiful (backing up to what I believe is the vineyard of Ashes and Diamonds) and quiet - just what we were seeking. For those visiting with a bigger group, you can choose to rent the Senza Suite and the loft, which are connected by a door in the living room. I would definitely do this if the opportunity ever presents itself - it would be perfect for a family get together or small girls trip. I'm also motivated to return because of the safety practices right now. All rooms are left empty for 24 hours, which made me feel comfortable about touching surfaces like light switches, door handles, etc. Housekeeping was more than attentive while still social distancing and the lobby is offering free masks if for some reason you forgot yours. I also thought it was a nice touch that in lieu of their wine happy hour they are offering discounted rates of popular bottles that you can take back to your room. We did have a few issues with billing when we checked out, but Graham was more than helpful in trying to remedy this mistake and ensure we are motivated to return. Finally, it's worth mentioning that the location of this property is more than convenient, within walking distance of Bistro Don Giovanni (highly recommend) and short driving distance of favorites like Mustards and Bottega (not to mention several great wineries). We'll be returning soon!

Had a last minute decision for a staycation at a place that provides a nice tub. We found Senza that has a jacuzzi, but unfortunately it's closed due to the covid. However, we're still down for the soak tub in the suite. Pros: - Room had a perfect AC, we turned on the fire for a few hours in the evening too and that was amazing, - Coffee maker worked great, - The warm/hot water in the shower and bath came out very quickly (didn't have to wait minutes for warm/hot water), - Lights were bright, - There was a magnifying makeup mirror with lights, - Robes and slippers were comfy, - Staff/front desk picked up our call after just a couple rings, and were attentive too. Cons: - There was no instructions or guide in the room, such as how to turn the fireplace on (that's why we had to call), - The patio bench was dusty, - No pen provided in the room (not that important but we needed it to fill in the breakfast list), - Due to the covid, we had breakfast delivered to our room. Unfortunately, the options were limited, but at least the juice (bottled) and breads were good. In general, we loved the room and most of the things provided in the room. I'm sure if it wasn't during a pandemic, it would have been an even better experience!

We stayed in a vineyard suite for 4 nights. It was our 25th wedding anniversary so a very special trip during these COVID-19 times. The room was great. The view was fantastic. We completely understand the new normal so were fine with no housekeeping etc. breakfast was served as requested in the rooms. The Nespresso machine was an added bonus. All was perfect except the lady who checked us in. She wasn’t wearing her name tag so I don’t know her name. She was African-American and was in a very bad mood. It was almost like she was being forced to be there and was judging us as to why we were there! We interacted with her at least 6-8 times during our visit but she was always sour. Not a smile on her face. Very unlike the other employees there who were all very pleasant. We did not let this affect us but just want the management there to know.

Let me start out by saying my family and I LOVED this hotel. Bad experience was check in. My wife called prior and was told we can get an early check in at 11am. We arrived at 12pm and was told that the room was not ready, (guests were still in the room). The front desk called someone over the radio for status of the room. A male yelled “Well it’s not ready! They wanted to be near the pool!” She advised me that “due to Covid it takes longer to clean the rooms and it would be ready in a few hours.” She also said we could go to pool but “Dont go in the room!” she reiterated this about 2 more times. Not what u want to hear after a long trip with 2 toddlers. We decided to kill time at the pool and she said she would call when it was ready. At 3:15PM (15 minutes after normal 3:00PM check in) My upset wife went to the front desk to ask the status. Front desk said “Oh yeah... it should be ready in 10 mins” another employee then was seen run into the room and we were finally able to check in 15 mins later. Everything else during our stay was great, but the start of the trip was both stressful and unacceptable.
