Detailed Reviews
We stayed in a 3 bedroom townhouse in Oak Creek (Silverado Resort is huge and has many options) because there were two couples and one single. The house was very nice, clean, comfortable, and updated. I was surprised though by the lack of items and services (no description of activities available at the resort by the front desk or in the house) since the cost of the house was quite expensive. When we first arrived, the WiFi was not working properly and the IT person was not very helpful. Luckily, one of our party was knowledgeable about WiFi and able to reset the modem and get it going again. Our first morning we woke to find only decaffeinated coffee. We called the front desk and coffee arrived quickly but in Keurig cups...we had a drip coffee machine. We ended up going to the front desk to get the correct coffee ourselves. There was also no ice, kitchen towels, or a cutting board.

I stayed there and the place is nice. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in was noisy. The A/C and refrigerators make more noise than the standard equipment. The A/C at the top of the ceiling has two beam lights that stay ON all time and that makes it harder to rest. The outdoors makes you feel good, the staff are friendly and I genuinely believe that they strive but in the end, if you pay for a room at Silverado, you should expect a decent room (not talking about luxury but just a well-kept place with attention to detail) and that did not happen this time. I don't feel like I had a fair chance to rest and that is the reason behind my review.

We were sold a "Golfers Dream Package" for April 21 - 26. Not much of a dream. when I made my tee times, for my four days of golf, I was informed that the North course was being aerated and we could only play the south. That was fine, but they failed to mention that the South course was aerated the week before, it was cart path only, and lots of cart path construction. The fairways and greens were in pretty bad shape, because of the aeration.
I will say the golf staff was wonderful with holding our clubs and having them ready for us each day.
Silverado sent and email regarding early check in, when I requested it we were told that we could just come and check in and they would hold our bags and put them in the room when the room was ready. When we got there no one offered us the option of holding our bags. We did get a key and when the room was available we were informed. Unfortunately they forgot to tell us it was on the second floor. We were in the dark when we returned to the property and had a bit of a problem finding our room.
The room was fine and very close to the golf course which was helpful.
My husband would like to go back some day when both courses are open and in better shape.

Hotel's Favorite
I've stayed at the Silverado a few times for different events, but this was the first time I visited with my own baby. We stayed in a king junior suite, which had a kitchenette, and it was perfect for our weekend getaway. The room was big enough for the travel crib with lots of space to spare, and had a good fridge for milk. (The hotel did also offer a crib in case we needed, fyi.) There was also a small private patio area in back as well as two lounge chairs in front overlooking the golf course -- those were great for hanging while the baby napped. And lastly, despite being busy with two wedding afterparties, the patio bar accommodated our after-hours request for late-night cookies. I've never had a bad visit here, but this stay was certainly the best.

Dear Alyssa, Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your experience with us. We're delighted to hear that your first visit with your baby was such a success. It’s great to know the king junior suite and kitchenette provided the perfect setup for your family getaway, and that our team was able to accommodate your late-night request, even during a busy weekend! We’re continuously working on resort-wide renovations to make stays even better, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable visit.

You’re paying $600 a night to stay in what resembles a crappy apartment vs a nice resort in wine country. We drove up to the front and there was no one to take our bags or valet our car, so we parked and checked in, just to be taken back to our car and to our room eventually. The golf cart holding our bags dropped our garment back on the floor of the cart. We helped carry our things to our tiny room overlooking a carport. The room has no amenities or special touches. Very cramped and not like the bright airy photos, far off from the main reception buildings and golf course views. Our hotel was cleaned 1 time during our stay and never contacted about the quality of our stay while we were there. On Sunday, we were woken up by the gas leaf blower before 7 am, which was so fitting for this place.
One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at, I’d recommend choosing any other wine country hotel over this one.

My wife and I did a quick 2 day, 1 night getaway with friends.
On the day of checkout, a man from housekeeping knocked repeatedly on our door to wake us up at 8:45am.
When I opened the door, the man used the a translation app on his phone to ask: is the room still occupied?
I spoke with him in his preferred language and confirmed from him that checkout is at 11am.
I emailed info@silveradoresort.com, Silveradoreservations@silveradoresort.com, and wsantos@kslreaorts.com a week ago and I’m still waiting for a response.
I emailed 2 concerns: 1. Waking-up guests to ask if we’re still using the room is discourteous and unwelcoming. 2. Was this a safety issue? Was this person really an employee?
Lastly, after we returned home I noticed we were overcharged $150 on the base rate. I contacted the billing department, who corrected the overcharge promptly.
Really poor experience overall.

This is just what we needed to get away from it all for two nights.
Upon arriving to the Silverado property, our cares and stress just melted away. The Silverado property is absolutely stunning and the service at check-in was stellar.
The actual condo well beautifully kept, well stocked with supplies, and ideally located adjacent to greens with a great, open view of the hills. Although connected to other condos, it felt private. The back entrances of the condo had two large glass sliding doors, making it possible to enjoy the great views from the living room and the bedroom. It was so relaxing to be able to sit out on back patio in the chaise lounge with a cocktail or a morning coffee.
We did not have a chance to experience the spa, but the tennis courts are some of the most beautifully kept courts on which we have played.
We did get our fair share of pool time. The pool near our condo was wonderful, quiet, and felt private. But, we really enjoyed the energy of the pool near the mansion. The bar service was an awesome bonus!
We can not stop talking about the two nights we spent here. We had the most magical time during our stay and hope to be able to enjoy this slice of heaven soon again.

Where to begin? Reservations was impossible to reach, instead there was an infinite phone tree of voice mailboxes and people who couldn’t tell you what room you would be in. Ultimately on arrival they put us in a cottage drive room. It was on the ground floor and was dark and stuffy, facing a concrete patio. So ugly! The air conditioning unit immediately outside the room started clicking on and off in twenty second intervals at incredibly loud volumes at 7:00am this morning. The air conditioning controls inside the room did not work — press any button, and it would either cool or not cool as it chose. Maintenance had to come by to deal with a closet light that wouldn’t turn off, and it was obvious this was a familiar issue to the front desk and the maintenance guy. Room service would not answer their phone or call you back for hours on a Saturday afternoon. We had to order Uber Eats to get a meal. The grill restaurant at dinner on Friday had one server for about five outside tables, meaning that it took 45 minutes to get a drink and the food didn’t arrive till much later. Guests next door were yelling and swearing, early this morning, probably because of the air conditioner unit awakening them. (I can’t blame them.) The “mansion” pool is hideous - a concrete pit of lukewarm water - and there was no food or beverage service there. No other pools were open, and those other pools are also ugly, from what we could see through the locked gates. Really, go elsewhere. For this money, there must be better value and service in Napa.

A friend and I booked a reservation for Silverado the weekend of BottleRock. The room was over $1,200 a night with a 3 night minimum. When we arrived to check-in, we were told the hot water in the room wasn't working. There had been a break in the line and if we needed to shower, it would have to be at the pool or the spa. They were working on the repair and as an apology, would provide a 25% discount. I was also told that the repair should be completed by the following day. Since we didn't have any other options, we decided to take the discount and make the best of it.
We get to the room and not only is the hot water not working, but when we turn the water on, its coming out brown. The next day, we shower at the spa which isn't super convenient and head out for the day. When we return and try to shower, the hot water still isn't working. Cut to the next morning which is now 48 hours after we checked in, and the water still isn't working. We have to head over to another shower at the spa. We come to realize that most people staying in our building have left. At this point, we don't want to stay a 3rd night with no working hot water so we ask to cancel the remaining night. Silverado agrees and we head home after the concert.
It's now been almost 2 months and Silverado will not honor the discount they told us they would provide to Hotels.com where we booked the reservation. They refunded the final night, but are continuing to charge us the full amount for a room where we couldn't use the water. We have the bill that Silverado provided us that shows the discount, but they refuse to honor it. Charging us $1,200/night for a room with no hot water is so unacceptable. We understand that things like this can happen and were very understanding and appreciated them trying to make it right by giving us the 25% discount. The fact that they won't honor that now has been so disappointing. I will never stay at Silverado again.
