Stayed here a number of years ago for pleasure and it evokes a long-lost Northern California feel from turn of the 20th century. The rooms (whole "house", really) has a distinct Victorian feel, and if you want a very comfortable stay (and well priced for the area), with impeccable and friendly service from the owner (the wonderful Ms. Carducci!), then... Stayed here for the first two nights of our trip to the valley and it was wonderful. Bed in the Roma suite was big and very comfortable. Our host, the daughter of the owner, was fantastic. Food was good, coffee was fabulous.

The owner Celeste is personable and answers email questions promptly. Each room is slightly different. I have trouble with steps, so we stayed in the first floor Carducci Suite - the former library. We enjoyed a short treasure hunt counting doors, including those hidden behind furniture, as this room once connected to everywhere with 5 doors in the room! The... More

My Husband chose this charming place for our anniversary trip and I'm so glad he did. Celeste and her family were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We loved hearing about the history of the house and restoration following the earthquake and enjoyed the Carducci suite. Super convenient to Downtown Napa and a quiet place to enjoy... More

Quiet. We love that we can walk to music and wine tasting downtown with no worries about having to take a car. A great place to take... More

We stayed in the Carducci Suite and it was wonderful. Lots of light in the bathroom. The home is within walking distance to downtown, river walk, restaurants and tasting rooms in Napa. Celeste is a very welcoming and fun hostess. We arrived late and all of our info and keys were waiting for us. Breakfasts were great. We enjoyed meeting... More

Everything was great at this vintage B&B. We have no complaints. It was comfortable, convenient and homey. Breakfast was equally wonderful. We will be back! We love to eat at Celadon Restarant and go to the Uptown Theatre venue and it is an easy walk to both from this B&B. We felt very safe and secure.

This is our third time to Napa and we decided to stay within the city itself this time. I was very impressed with the accommodations. The rooms were huge (We stayed in the Roma Suite) and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. I especially liked that the inn keeper was so attentive to our needs. We wanted to... More

This is a wonderful inn, located just a few blocks from downtown Napa. It's an easy walk to the restaurants, shops and the emerging riverfront area. The owners are wonderful, and they also own a tasting room for their wines called Uncorked. We're not breakfast people, but it was excellent. The McClelland-Priest Inn is beautiful old Victorian house loaded with... More
