We were at this hotel primarily because of the Brian Culbertson Napa Jazz Festival. It was the perfect venue as the courtyard provided an excellent space for 2 hours of afternoon jazz and more than enough space for wineries to come to the hotel allowing the guests to sample their wines. The hotel is also within walking distance of Napa town centre. Room was spacious although where we were situated we had the constant hum of large (I believe air conditioning units). The bonus is the underground free car parking and a very nice pool. The only disappointment was a poor and expensive limited choice of food at lunchtime (our package with the Jazz Festival included a very average buffet breakfast) and as with so many hotel and restaurants there appeared to be a shortage of staff. There was also an issue with our final bill where we had been overcharged on our room rate and it only took the involvement of Te'Joni Williams, the very efficient Front Office Supervisor, to eventually resolve the issue. Overall though, it is a well situated modern hotel and well positioned for both Napa town centre and the many surrounding wineries.

We stayed for four days to attend my granddaughter’s birthday party. The room was spacious and beautiful and the service was outstanding. We didn’t eat in the room, but we had a full kitchen with everything you would need to prepare a meal. There is a beautiful saltwater pool and hot tub that my son really enjoyed. The staff was so helpful and friendly and I felt very well taken care of. This was the second time we stayed here and it’s the only place I want to stay when we visit Napa. It is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and the wine train. I absolutely love this hotel.

PROS: The hotel is greatly located in the heart of Napa close to all good restaurants and bars. Rooms are comfy and clean and the staff very friendly. As a matter of fact, I had some issues with the room and they did everything to resolve it and finally moved me to another room. CONS: Breakfast is OK, nothing extraordinary. I'd recommend Oxbow Market for finding some tasty breakfast options. Also, do not go to this hotel during the BottleRock festival if you are not going for that festival. Hotel guests, who are mostly there for the festival could be very noisy. In conclusion, though, we are looking forward to going back there as soon as we can.

We just got back from staying in a 1 bedroom suite. The room was very dated and not at all what you'd expect in the price range we paid. The fridge in the room had produce in it that must have been left from a previous guest... gross. I didn't bother dealing with this since we were just crashing for one night, but ew. The tipping point in writing this review is that when we got up early to leave, kids and all, we called down to have our car brought out by the valet. We got there to find out car but it was locked and there was nobody around to give us the key. We were on a tight schedule and stood waiting, eventually asking other employees who disappeared presumably to try to help. Eventually the valet came out and grabbed a baggage cart, saw us all standing there with all our stuff at the locked care and turned around to leave before my husband flagged him down and again asked for our key to which we got an "oh yea" as he easily got it for us, and finally we were off.... WTF. More of a sub par place to crash than anything else. Walkable location is good for Napa proper

This hotel/meeting venue/restaurant/resort has everything you need for a weekend get away or an extended stay for a conference. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms very well apportioned, the exercise area was top notch and the bar and restaurant were excellent.

When we booked our stay all other good hotels were pretty much booked, so we ended up staying at the Westin. We got the Premium Suite with 1 bedroom. The Good The location is nice. It’s a bit secluded so you don’t get the loudness of the city center. It’s right next to the wine train (literally 30 steps away from it) and there is a nice park right next to it if you want to relax and take in the sun. It’s a quick walk to the city center (about 5 mins). The property is clean and well maintained from what we’ve seen. The Bad Obviously, hotels cost way more than they did so we understand today’s post-covid pricing, but honestly, for like $700/night it’s a tough one. There is no, I repeat NO room service. You can supposedly order things from the restaurant that’s in the hotel and then go pick them up yourself, but forget about late-night snack deliveries or early morning breakfast in bed. Napa is also a fairly sleepy town so the only thing you’ll be able to order late at night is mcdonalds, taco bell or 7 eleven (we checked the food apps). There was a full-on large fridge, stove, oven and microwave in our room, so it’s clearly more of an apartment setting than a hotel. Again, nothing terrible if you’re paying $300/n but at $700/n it just isn’t it. The room was also quite hot and AC wasn't helping much which was weird. We asked for a late checkout (asked for an additional hour) and were told it was impossible. Then we were told that it’s possible if we’re Marriott Bonvoy members and then told since we’re not we can’t stay. So it is possible and would’ve been just a nice, decent thing for them to do since we spent multiple nights at a larger room and they clearly weren’t booked full. It’s the little things that matter.

I have avoided the Westin brand for years after a bad experience in New York. My stay at the Westin Verasa Napa has restored my faith in the brand. The service at the hotel is fantastic and that is what truly made my stay memorable. In particular, the individuals at the front desk, Housekeeping, and the bell desk were superb. The rooms are a little dated, but were very clean and pleasant. This is a great hotel for families in Napa. The suites make it easy to travel with the kids. The pool is small but heated and enjoyable with a great view. The location of the hotel is great - walking distance to downtown Napa. The restaurant La Toque was delicious for an upscale kid-free dinner. Definitely worth the splurge. Room tips: get a view out the back of the river and not the front parking lot. Also, I noticed noise from the above room. In order to avoid, I would request a room on the top floor next time.

very close to downtown. The acoustics are non existent. Our first night here we had the people above us pacing around and playing music til 5 am! Definitely not the best night because we traveled all day to be here. I slept for 1.5 hrs so I spent my day exhausted. Spoke to front desk and they couldn't change rooms but told us those guests were checking out. (They also offered us $100) I guess they wanted to cover our gas? After a nice day exploring Napa w friends and family we returned to the hotel at 7:30 pm and not a peep from upstair! I was relieved til 5 am rolled around and the kids upstairs started running and jumping! Parents! Be mindful about others! We are here with our 7 and 4 yrs old and they are not allowed to be jumping in a hotel room. I know kids are kids but not cool at 5 am!!!! Since I'm a parents I didn't want to put any stress on the parents so before going out I stopped by Reception and asked them politely to just let the guests know to be mindful of the noise during their stay. Well that didn't work, they started their day even earlier today. At 3:55 this morning they started their day and woke me up. Luckily they didn't wake my kids up. That would not be good, 3 nights without good rest, only God knows what I would've done if my kids got woken up at such early hr! I have my sound machine blasting and even so I can't sleep due to the noise that is going upstairs. The lack of sleep has definitely affected my trip, we will not be staying here again. Very disappointed at our stay.

Dear T4491Ktaniac, We are delighted to have been your chosen hotel during your recent stay in Napa. It was truly a pleasure to serve you. We appreciate your business and value your honest feedback. Your valuable feedback helps identify areas of opportunity for us to improve the guest experience. We certainly fell short on our promise to deliver renewal during your stay. Please accept my most sincere apologies regarding your underwhelming experience. It was certainly not a typical experience here at Westin Verasa Napa and also not the renewing experience we strive to provide our guests. I have passed your feedback to our Leadership team to review and follow-up internally. We will use the feedback as a teachable moment and continue brainstorming ways we can exceed our guests' expectations. We recognize these are unusual times and thank you for staying at the Westin Verasa Napa.

We are staying for the first time at The Westin Verasa - Napa for a couple of nights. When we arrived we were a bit surprised that the valet parking and bell service were suspended. I had to carry the heavy luggage up the stairs with my torn rotator tendon. However, at the front desk we found a very welcoming person. We booked on points from my wife's gold account (who will achieve platinum after this stay). At the desk my name was added to the reservation and then all the benefits were applied: very nice welcome gift (expandable water bottle, a toiletries bag, a very nice shoes bag, all in good looking box), an upgrade to a one bedroom suite with a large balcony, breakfast vouchers, etc. The property is in a very nice location and presents nice facilities. It needs a good tlc and one of the managers just told me that they will remodel the whole resort soon and add a long needed spa. As alternatives, I was looking at The Lodge (Autograph), Alila (Hyatt - no points availability) and Fairmont (where we stayed before and the spa is huge). We were pretty happy with our choice. — at The Westin Verasa - Napa.

First off — great location. Close to the wine train and Oxbow market and walkable to many great restaurants. As a Bonvoy gold member, I was initially told there were no upgrades available, but when I asked again, was upgraded to a 1 bedroom unit. Unfortunately it was facing the highway and there was construction nearby so it was noisy. The ac worked ok in the living room, but not in the bedroom. So, bed was extremely comfortable but a bit warm. My disappointment was that I was celebrating my 50th birthday and they did nothing. No card — nothing. I never get to travel for my birthday because it’s around the holidays, but every other birthday at a hotel they send up a small treat.
