Make sure read any fine print when booking and take a screen capture of the cancellation policy for your records. Oct 2022, I booked and prepaid a stay at this property for May 2023. I did not see anything in their cancellation policy about blackout dates or exception (and I'm certain I read the fine print). Their email confirmation with the cancellation policy also had no mention of blackout dates or exceptions. Just tried to cancel 2 months in advance of arrival and I'm being told they have to charge me for one nights stay because my stay overlapped with a blackout period.
I worked with Trey Harris for an Executive offsite event. I was able to visit the property in January and our event was held in February. Trey bent over backwards for us! He was so pleasant and professional. Any request we made, he took care of with a wonderful positive attitude. He worked so hard to make everything perfect! He was cleaning rooms, cooking breakfast, making reservations, fixing heat and even allowed us to borrow his personal TV for a presentation. He went above and beyond to make our retreat excellent. I can't say enough positives about working with Trey!
We came to Napa for a Corporate Team Retreat and Team Building. We booked the entire inn and it was incredible. Trey Harris and his team know what they are doing. When we realized the projector would not work for what we needed, Trey went and brought us his personal big screen TV so we could present. From breakfast every morning to the lunches he had catered in for us daily were incredible. Trey and his wonderful staff kept up with 14 C-Suite executives, and the rest of us who tagged along. Every odd request was met with a resounding yes, we can make that happen. There is a Staples just around the corner, most are within walking distance but if you have to go out for supplies, everything is close by! From a corporate retreat, to a romantic weekend, to a girls trip - The White House Inn & Trey have everything you need. I hope to make it back to visit someday!…
We stayed at White House inn this past weekend. Trey was especially a shining star. We were greeted kindly and helpfully from the moment we arrived. My wife and I appreciated Trey’s tour. Our room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Wine hour and breakfast were great. I definitely recommend staying at White House inn with Trey.
We have stayed at several inns or boutique hotels within Napa, and the White House Inn is one of our favorites. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are well appointed and the location is easy walking distance to downtown Napa and a plethora or incredible restaurants and tasting rooms. An added bonus was the evening wine and cheese offering and an incredible breakfast in a beautiful setting on the first floor. Napa is always fun to visit and the White House Inn adds to any stay.
It was lovely coming into this lovely 17 room bed&breakfast. Gracious facility Mgr that was available 24/7. Front room on 1st floor was actually very quiet and didn't hear noise I thought. Only only issue was the heat from electric fireplace. Never quite was warm enough for me. But I used my partner to snuggle and warm me. ;) and bathroom is like a B&B, only room for 1 at a time. LOL. But shower together definitely possible as shower was spacious. It was lovely. Will consider most definitely for a day or two getaway. (We only live up the road towards Sacramento) ;)
Loved our experience at this charming house. We stayed here 2 nights. The room was very comfortable and charming - exactly as pictured. Quiet. Loved the complimentary evening drinks and snacks and breakfast was really great. Beautiful robes in the room.
My husband and I stayed here back in 2013 and got engaged on property. We remember the experience to be like nothing else. The management and staff made you feel like you were truly at home. They had such a personalized feel and it made for a wonderful and magical vacation. The woman who owned/managed the house baked fresh pastries for breakfast in the morning and cookies at night. The breakfast was homemade and customized per couple. Breakfast times were scheduled to ensure a personalized feel. Now, it feels like a Residence Inn at best. The breakfast was embarrassing to say the least. Just yuck! We didn’t even eat breakfast on property once. Not what you should expect at a B&B in Napa for this price point! Also, the happy hours used to be fun and everyone who stayed in the house joined in. During our recent stay this last week they set out $7 bottles of wine in ice buckets. I’m perplexed. I would have much rather stayed at another competing property with much more amenities. My suggestion is to try somewhere else. It’s not worth it. Stay at a motel and you’ll experience the same service. But at a motel you might actually have a usable pool or spa. The pool and spa they advertise are so disgusting that no one would even dare step foot in them. Just yuck, again. Overall your money is better spent elsewhere. Which is such a shame since this place used to be a true gem in downtown Napa. No longer. :(…
The location is great - a seven minute walk to downtown Napa. The rooms were nice. But at a B & B in Napa where there are countless wonderful bakeries, the breakfast was defrosted, plain and packaged raisin bread. Fruit was in a little dish and so if you wanted what would be a serving, several of these were necessary. And you had to clean your own tables into black buckets which certainly did away with any sense of an elegant b&b. Yes, the staff was nice and willing to help. Yes, we did have a porch but it was filthy. The outside cushions were dirty. There were clean towels outside of every room and so you could change them as frequently as you would want.
THIS PLACE IS , IN ONE WORD - AMAZING! We were late checking in and let me tell you, it couldn't have been easier for a B&B. That is really what it is, A B&B - there was a FULL breakfast (eggs, protein, French toast, pasties, and much more much to our surprise. Then in the evening there was a wine and cheese/cheese reception - that was a wonderful treat! The location is perfect if you want to walk into town. We were able to walk to dinner in 5 minutes and it was a nice quite walk back also. We booked a couples massage, the spa is onsite and had a bottle of bubbles waiting when were done (we ordered separately through the hotel) the staff was amazing and helped us to a cabana afterwards where we continued to relax by the pool. The Inn's grounds were so beautiful and the flowers in bloom made the entire outdoor area smell great. There are multiple fire pits available for use (you need to ask someone for the "key"). The hot tub is in a remote area from the pool, it was so nice to sit out there just the two of us and felt like we were in our own little world. The pool has A LOT of sitting available and pretty much looks just like the pictures online which was a nice surprise. When we tell people of our trip to Napa, we tell them we would defiantly visit the White House Inn again!…
